I’ve been here a couple times now and loved every dine-in experience. Before getting into the dishes, the staff here is very polite and attentive. Always had a great interaction with the servers. For food we got the dinner for two option. That alone is a good amount of food but I wanted to try other dishes as well. Below are the dishes in order of favourites:Pickled Lettuce - sooo good. A must have if you’re dining here. It’s light and fresh.Golden Shrimp Roll - minced filling was so delicious. Crispy roll. Sweet sauce pairing.Japanese-Style Fried Tofu - silky tofu fried perfectly. Great sauce to go with it.Braised Pork Feet - great dish. Seasoning was perfect.Kabayaki Eel Sticky Rice - large dish, great for sharing. Rice was seasoned and had mushroom in it, very good.Crispy Pork Intestine - delicious, love the chewy texture. Way less greasy than I was expecting.Daami Noodles - small bowls good for fillerTaiwanese Three-Cup Chicken - good, standard imoWe also got both the desserts, both amazing. It’d be hard to decide between the two. Tofu pudding was sweet, the grass jelly bowl a little less sweet (which I prefer).
Good food. I like this restaurant??
So yummy!! We tried most of the famous dishes, wish we had bigger stomach to try more!First of all, service was spectacular! Servers were very patient and attentive!Restaurant is very nicely renovated, we came at off peak hours and it was very nice and quiet and relaxing. Near dinner time it started to fill up and got bit noisy. The noodle is on the pricy side for the small portion but it was delicious and worth a try if it's your first time. Minced pork rice was very yummy. Deep fried pork intestine was very well made, not greasy at all but still soft and juicy! Eel sticky rice was yummy and served steaming hot.The grass jelly bowl is a must have! So refreshing and a perfect dessert to wrap up the meal! Will come back to try other dishes like the pork feet and 3 cup chicken.
First time going to 度小月, very good first impression. A very clean place which is very important. I also like the renovations. Excellent service?? Food is also good , I will definitely try other dishes next time. ?
Delicious food and comfortable environment. They served customers with heart. Excellent service!
Excellent dinning experience, the restaurant is super clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. Service was one of the best ones I've been too. Food were very tasty, and we liked all of what we ordered. Ordered their signature Red Vinasse Fried Chicken and Kabayaki Eel Sticky Rice, and we love them. The chicken has a very special flavor, unlike the usual Taiwanese popcorn chicken, very crispy and juicy. The sticky rice is very well done as well, very fulfilling, so better share it. We also order the Clear stew beef, the soup was so good, and not blend at all. We'll definitely come back again, very pleasant dining experience for sure, highly recommended!
Instagram @chopstixinthesix Follow Us!We got Kabayaki Eel Sticky Rice, Daami Noodle, Salt & Pepper Chicken and Traditional Minced Pork Rice. Kabayaki Eel Sticky Rice was DELICIOUS, it came in a Bamboo Steamer, with Lotus Leaf at the bottom, Sticky Rice was mixed with Shiitake Mushrooms, Dried Shrimps, topped with thinly sliced Eel, it was perfect! Daami Noodle came with Meat Sauce, a Shrimp, an Egg, it was not as good as I remembered having it in Hong Kong, Noodle was a bit mushy, but the flavour was good, also thought it was quite pricey for the portion, it was literally one bite… Salt & Pepper Chicken was AMAZING, Chicken was tender, juicy, super crispy and the flavour was bomb! Minced Pork Rice was very affordable, Minced Pork Sauce had the most delicious flavour! Also, shout-out to their SUPERB service, it was super quick and friendly!
Small portions, eel wasnt fresh. The pork feet were ok, and the only thing i would recommend from here is the popcorn chicken. I wouldn’t consider this authentic Taiwanese food. Staff was nice though. Would not come back, unless it was just for green grotto.
Nice little gem in a convenient location. Interior design was modern & pleasing, service was very friendly & professional. Our waiting staff advised us no need to order braised egg as it comes with our noodle. And warning us every time he brought hot dishes ???? Almost all of the food are above average, they are smaller in size compared with other traditional Chinese food but this is a Taiwanese culture. We didn’t mind it. Will definitely go back to try the other dishes.
Came for the 100 year tradition noodles, stayed for the ham hock and fried chickenThis place really does live up to its name. The noodles have a unique chewy bite to it and im already a bit biased as I do love thick round noodles and they were just about there! The texture is silky and the noodles were quite bouncy too!The ham hock… I did have my reservations about it as i don’t just eat hock out of the blue, but my friend said we gotta try it. And I was super impressed! So tender and juicy and the sauce they used was so nicely flavoured and soaked so well into the hock that every bite you just wanna ladle some sauce to get it soaking in!The red vinasse fried chicken was another amazing dish! The colour is a pinkish hue that is given off through the use of sugar beets. With that in mind, ever so slightly sweet with a Big Crunch and so tender and juicy after breaking that fried barrier. If you love interiors and decor, they got this down pat. Super eye catching and appealing to the eyes as soon as you walk in, so many things draw to your attention.Service was awesome! The waiter was very attentive to us and made you feel almost fine dining like! This place is a little on the pricier side, but you will definitely leave content and on a full stomach! Don’t overestimate the portion size with price. When I went, looks like they will also be having a drive thru, so cannot wait to see how that will go!Great job overall!Follow me on IG @thirst_and_taste for better pics, vids and more amazing content!
