I called, ordered & visited Cravins for the first time. The hostess was polite & truly pleasant on the phone & in person ? The price is very reasonable for 6 meals & very delicious ? We totally enjoyed & love their jerk pork, jerk chicken, oxtail stew, chicken stew & curry chicken ?? We also enjoyed the delicious crunchy coleslaw ? Thank U chef & hostess!! ?? Keep up the great work!! ? We’ll definitely call & visit U again soon! ??
Of all the Jamaican food I've had this was meh.Nothing on the menu stands out taste wise.Roti blandStew chicken mostly bonesBarely any meat on oxtailIt was good enough I went 3 timesNot good enough for me to want to go back.
Everything was good but the food wasn’t warm. Got their lunch special stew chicken and extra cole claw on side! Very enjoyable meal and I will be back again!
I highly recommend this Restaurant to anyone who want to taste something different and delicious In Caribbean style. I had Oxtail, curry goat, jerk pork, chicken with rice&peas/beans just to name a few of what I've ordered since I found this place. I love the environment it's quiet, nice and clean. These beautiful ladies that work here give excellent customer service they have that warm welcome vibes that give you a smile even when you're having a bad day. Very good goat curry roti, will for sure come back. Prices are reasonable with a good portion of food. Good efficient service with a smile.
Small hidden gem located in Markham. Great Jamaican food with fair portions and prices with excellent customer service. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Went for lunch, had the jerk chicken and shared a curry chicken roti, portions were generous and the price was reasonable. The jerk chicken was a bit overcooked, and needed a bit more seasoning. I would definitely have the curry chicken roti again. There is no proper menu posted online or in the restaurant, so you have to ask the staff what they have unless you already know the menu or just want the special. I'm not a fan of getting to the counter to order without being prepared, so I found that to be an uncomfortable aspect of the experience.
Tried Cravins for the first time today and I should say I was really impressed. The young ladies at the front counter were very kind and the quality and quantity of the lunch special (curry chicken) was very good. The patty was also unique and very good.Even though it was a takeout order, I sort of regret not tipping because my experience was really good. I will next time, and there will definitely be a next time. Thanks..
I read a previous review about the food lacking in taste, but I wanted to try it for myself to decide. I ordered the rice and peas with jerk chicken and coleslaw. I want to be as kind as possible with my review, but the jerk chicken literally had no taste. The coleslaw was great! The rice and peas too. But that jerk chicken left a lot to be desired in taste.
I come here with my coworkers all the time because it's close to our workplace. Our go to is jerk chicken lunch and we alwayssss leave with a happy stomach! Their tangy watery hot sauce in a squirt bottle, savoury fall off the bone chicken with gravy and creamy sweet crunchy coleslaw all go too well together. Other coworkers enjoy Chris Jerk more which I don't understand why. Chris Jerk comes with a side of steamed vegetables which doesn't compliment the meal at all IMO. A bit random actually.Note that they aren't doing dine in for now due to Covid.
