This place is absolutely amazing. The food is so flavourful and the service is impeccable. I come here with my friends every month and Tim always taken back by how good the food is. Reasonably priced good food with solid service. 10/10
We came around 7:30 pm and had to be put in a waiting list where they would call us when a table would be ready. They are super popular so we waited for an hour to be seated. This was the first time I have been here. The service was fast, and the staff were super friendly and nice . The food came out pretty quickly, and the portion sizes were huge, and the prices are very fair. 3 out of 5 of us were only able to finish half our dish. The food was amazing, might have been the best Katsu I have ever had. The Katsu was so crispy! I would definitely go back, it was worth the wait.
Staff was very friendly. Service didn't take too long. Wasn't that expensive and food was very filling as well. Portions were huge as you can tell from the photos. I ordered spice level 2, was a bit too spicy for me so I'd recommend people try level 1 unless they are accustomed to spicier East Asian food.Served tea to everyone for free which was also a big plus. Will definitely come by again if I am in the area and craving fried chicken.
Probably my favourite katsu place in Toronto by far. Their gravy is delicious and the crispness of the pork is unmatched. I would recommend their spice level 2 as it’s the perfect balance between sweet and spicy.
Okay this place is absolutely delicious! We got Grilled Chashu (pork belly), Curry Tonkatsu and Shrimp Set A (fried shrimp and pork cutlet). I also requested a side of the carbo curry sauce!Everything was absolutely delicious. The portions are huge - I definitely had to take some of it home. However, I do wish you get more rice with it so the meat to rice ratio is even lol. Highly highly recommend!! This place is amazing ?
I had ordered the tonkatsu ramen due to the general positive reviews regarding it and was recommended by most. It didn't take much time to order, but to get it we had to wait around 40-50 mins. The portions were good enough considering the price. I had such high expectations, the ramen had no flavor, literally bland despite dipping it fully in the broth provided and the meat wasn't that great too. The fishcake smell was pretty strong too. Maybe it isn't my type of food.The staff was really friendly. I will try it out again once the lockdown restrictions are removed , hopefully soon.
Fantastic food! The tonkatsu ramen is exactly what you need on a cold winter day! The grilled chashu is buttery smooth and literally falls apart in your mouth ? the prices are also very fair for how much food you get!
The Tonkatsu is a must eat! I am not a big fan of deep fried pork cutlet however I couldn’t stop eating the curry tonkatsu tonight! The meat is so soft, tender and not oily. My wife like the original sauce but I enjoy the curry. The ramens are alright.I really appreciated that the staffs are extremely accommodating with the kids and baby. They gave us the table that can park the stroller. The Frozen fork and spoon they provided for my kids are wonderful.The washroom is clean. The restaurant has partitions which make me feel safe to eat there.
I have been to this plaza millions times but never tried this hidden pearl before.Their Katsu is great! Rich in flavor, big in potion. I usually finish everything in my plate when I eat. But i find it difficult to do this time because the potion is enormous!The store is clean, washroom is clean.So good, I will come back for more.
Generous portions, friendly staff, clean restaurant and more importantly delicious food. What else can one ask for? Had their brown katsu (pork loin) and fried Shrimp. Katsu was moist and tender with a good amount of bread crumbs, topped with their brown sauce. Fried shrimp used the same coating of bread crumbs as the katsu, however there was way too much bread crumbs coating overpowering the taste and texture of the shrimp itself.I will be coming back and looking forward to try their other items on the menu.
