First time here. Food was actually good. Fries were hot & fresh. Wings and ribs were delicious. The coleslaw was just meh and the beans, but other than that everything else was good. Would return again.
I have been a regular customer for take-out. However, I noticed that that the quality of service and food has gone downhill. Yesterday I called 2 hours ahead to order the Monday special (1 rack of ribs and 1lb. of wings). However, I had to wait for 20 minutes for the order, in spite that there was no other order in waiting. Ironically their ribs, what they are supposed to be famous for, were a bit dry and tough, and was burnt to charcoal on one side. It is very disappointing.

However, I had to wait for 20 minutes for the food, in spite that there was no other orders being prepared at that time. When I got home, I was disappointed that their "signature" BBQ pork ribs was burnt black and was hard to chew. The chicken wings were very ordinary and I can tell I was not given 1 lb. of the wings, I am not going back again.
I ordered wings and poutine for pick up at the Kanata location Upon arriving home, I found a container of fries and a container with the wings. I called and the guy told me to return to get the poutine for free. Once I arrived, he gave me the poutine but didn't issue a refund. Nick came to explain that I am receiving what I paid for. The only way they would issue a refund would mean them taking the food. They said that I am receiving "extra" fries and this is sufficient compensation for their mistakes. Will not be returning.
Great place for some ribs and wings. I wish they had a nice patio. The interior feels small and dated. The staff working there are super nice. They're friendly and courteous. The wings were unbelievably good. The ribs were ok. I prefer mine juicier, but that's a personal preference. I'd go back for the wings and coleslaw alone. I recommend having a selection of imported beer in bottles or cans to choose from (e.g. Asahi, Tsing Tao, Modelo). This place deserves 5 stars for sure.
Big Bone used to be our favourite go to place for wings and ribs however the level of quality has gone down significantly recently. Despite repeated second chances, we've been disappointed time and again. Today, we finally got to order the smoked original but ended up with the burnt original. No prideful ribber would ever let this go out the door. Never again!
Ordered the Monday special a few weeks ago. It is quite cheap for the amount of food you get, and actually taste pretty good. Some of the ribs are very tender while others are very hard and not falling off the bones so I assumed they were not cooked together, which is understandable as they might be busy due to the Monday special.However, the whole family got quite serious diarrhea multiple times after the dinner and the next day, including my daughter who was sent back by school the next day for diarrhea. We had to wait 48 hours to send her back to school again due to Covid rules the school set.I was excited that I found a cheap and delicious bbq place nearby but it turns out to be slap in the face☹️
I don't know why i keep giving this place second chances. Was once the best BBQ joint in Markham, but over the years the quality of food and customer satisfaction has seriously declined. Barely any meat on my ribs and chicken wings, stale fries, and i asked for extra ketchup on the side and didn't even get a single packet. I normally never leave reviews, and i hate leaving bad ones, but i just spent 25 dollars on possibly the worst meal i have ever had. I get we are coming out of a pandemic but raising he price of my usual by 5 bucks and getting poor quality food and my order botched along with it is unacceptable.. Also staff working are very unmotivated, seem like they hate being there which is evident in their food quality. People are dying for jobs these days!! if you dont want to be there then quit! Will not be returning to this location and would love to get my money back if i could. would rate this place 0 starts given the opportunity.
I've been here many times for the Monday special and it was spectacular. But today it was a complete disappointment, I can understand the price increase to $34. The ribs were not fall off the bone at all, very tough. The wings were all drumettes and didn't taste smoked. Also first day of no mask requirements and all the workers are already unmasked too!
Usually quite good. However, tonight the ribs were tough, they didn't fall off the bones like in the past. In fact we had a lot left over because we didn't enjoy it. Very disappointing! When I went to pick up, machine prompting for a tip before it will let you pay. Not a good experience tonight. It will be a long time, if ever, we go back. Perhaps new owners?
