Came for a date night in the evening. Great location and vibe with soju-beer towers, large tvs, and friendly service. The chicken was solid. We had the secret sauce 8 piece with the cheeseling fries. The chicken was juicy and the breading was crispy, although some of the pieces barely really count as pieces (a lot of bone). The sauce was standard. The fries were a standout though, crispy and fluffy, cheesy and very indulgent with a sweet and salty vibe. Very reminiscent of kettle corn. The radishes that came with the chicken was great too. The Milkis was rather expensive for the small can.Overall pretty solid!
First time trying this joint and location with 3 other company. The chicken were thinly battered and deep fried. They were crispy and the meat were not salty like Popeyes or KFC. Sauces and/or cheese powder were coated generously on each piece of chicken and served piping hot. (Guess the temperature and freshness would be the biggest difference between dine in and takeout.) There were about a tablespoon of sauces/powder remaining at the bottom of the basket. Sauce flavour wise, the secret sauce was surprisingly tasty with the fries. The soy garlic sauce was more garlicky than expected (not in a bad way). The mala sauce reminded us of the sauce packet from the Korean instant noodles. Flavour was spicy and a little numbing on the lips (not too spicy for people who eat spicy food) but also a bit addictive. Although these chicken were deep fried, they did not leave us with the greasy or bloated feeling. The sauces were on the sweet side, so for people who prefer savoury, they might find the food not salty enough. Overall, we were all quite satisfied with this dine-in experience. Server was attentive. Prices were fair. Maybe we’ll try another location next time to see if quality matches.
It’s nice to have a bbq chicken restaurant in the neighbourhood. We stopped by to give it a try after our walk. They were not too busy around dinner time. We chose to buy some of their famous Korean style bbq chicken for take out. They offered a 2 in 1 Box Chicken (Mix & Match To Go Only) which we could pick any two flavours out of the 12 different ones on their menu, plus we could also select bone-in chicken pieces, boneless chicken pieces or wings. Our order of the 2 in 1 Box Chicken included 8 pieces bone-in and 8 pieces boneless. Their service was quick and helpful! The price was reasonable and the taste of their chicken pieces were fresh and yummy.
So glad there’s a bbq chicken in Markham and definitely a must have especially if you have just watched a kdrama. Food and service is great
Pretty Good Korean Fried Chicken with big portion sizes. I ordered the Honey Garlic Boneless Chicken and the Ddeok-Bokki
Looking for the best authentic Korean fried chicken with special sauce....look no further. The place is clean, service was quick with friendly staff. Salad was fresh and the chicken wings were to die for.... yummy.... rightly spiced!!! Bring your friends. Kudos to the owner and Hailey. Go check it out.... you're going to love it!!!
This place is one of the best Korean fried chicken places in Toronto!I love ordering from here and it's so convenient they have a online ordering system.I ordered the boneless chicken combo mix in the flavours cheesling and secret sauce. Both are so crunchy and tasty !The reason I give this less a star is because this is my second time now ordering from here and still have the same issue:the last time the store just opened and I had placed an order for pick up for 7:00pm and my food ended up being done by 6:45pm and was told I was to pick up at 6:45 and it's already been 15mins sitting there left for it to be cold as it's near the door. I showed the staff my order and time that says on my online receipt through my email, she apologized, but didn't do anything and still gave me my cold order.Yesterday night, I again placed another order through their website and ordering system. The food was already sitting there but my status on the phone still said "we're preparing" and an ETA of being completed at 8:45pm. I showed up early at 8:30pm and my order was already once again sitting there left to be cold. By the time I ate, it was mediocre warm.
Korean fried chicken | LLBO to come March 2022 | Take Out | Closed TuesdaysCovid protocols in placeCurrently has a great alcohol menu with beer, wine, soju and towers but not available till hopefully March 2022Interior: Very clean and newly renovated. I still remember the old restaurant design that used to be here. This is definitely all different.Service: Amazing. Very kind and caring servers. They'd apologize when they forget part of my orders and such. There was a guest that came in to order take out and both times she entered the restaurant she had no mask on. Although she was far from me, I did feel a bit uncomfortable. Wished the swerved has reminded the guest to please wear her maskFood:The radish was yummy and great sour level.I've had their other location at Yonge/Finch area and the chicken temperature, texture and flavouring is just as good. Crispy on the outside and soft and tender on the inside. The Cheeseling Fries were surprisingly good! There are definitely different levels of seasoning. I did wish the fries were a fried a bit longer to have a harder crispier fry.The Crunch Prawn Sticks were fresh and hot. Didn't feel like they're just premade frozen shrimp sticks at all. We chose Garlic Mayo as our dipping sauce and it was so good. The Honey Garlic Chicken was nice and juicy. Sauce was perfect. The Gangjeong Wings were also good but the dry seasoning could be tossed a bit more. I felt that it only covered the top pieces.Korean Soy Grilled Chicken Over RiceGreat flavours and nice portion.I did wish that they would offer real utensils instead of plastic ones. There were times where I struggled to get a fork in the meat.Overall I'd definitely return to try more items off their menu and of course their beers and soju!
Delicious! We ate it right away so it was fresh. Ordered the galbi chicken and garlic soy…was very satisfying. The prices are fair, not expensive, not cheap. A good fried chicken fix if you’re in the area.
Golden Fried Chicken 8pieces for $20+tax, ordered from website 30min to pickup. Nice crispy and plain taste but good, I liked it!
