Don’t go to this place. If you want to die from spicy then by all means go ahead and eat from this place. The mutton and chicken curry in the rotti, the lump rice curry is extremely spicy. The chicken wings is even more SPICY. There’s no way that’s okay. There is too much spice. We literally had to wash the chicken wings because of how spicy it was.
We ordered with some guidance by their staff who was patient and helpful. We enjoyed all that we ordered. Mutton kothu and seafood lamprais. Very flavourful and spicy. Looking forward to trying more of their menu next time.
After hearing about Appa's Original Kitchen from relatives, I'm trying out the food for the first time. I ordered a Veggie Lunch box for $5.99, Banana Leaf Seafood Feast for $19.99 and Banana leaf baked Malabar roti with Mutton for $9.99. The food was very tasty. I liked the banana leaf-baked Malabar roti very much. It was not too spicy too. Thank you:)
5 stars, very awesome food. Lamprais parcels are stuffed with well-made stuff. Really high quality and even the packaging is intricate. Very authentic Sri Lankan food. This is the sort of place that lets you convince people to move to Toronto.
First time there, very kind customer service! Got the chili onion fries. Huge portion for the price, definitely share. Loved the hot sauce they used on the fries!

I bought a mutton kothu extra gravy, spicy ? it was on point loved it. They are not like other places where they use old curries and they put quality pieces of mutton here and loaded it up. Would definitely recommend this place and cant wait for my next meal here.
This place offer very decent SriLankan Food. Price is reasonable and the staff are very friendly and the place looks very clean and professional. You can call and order ahead. I would suggest their SriLankan Lamprais wrapped in banana leaf. I would say it is around 80% authentic to what you will get from the best restaurants in SriLankan. I am not big fan of their mutton rolls it needs some work.
