EDIT: Their sushi platters are still a pretty good deal and are cash only. Quality has decreased slightly or at the very least they are less consistent now.***Ordered the 60pc platter. Food is fresh and delicious as always. Note that they get so busy that you should order a couple hours in advance, or the day before, especially for weekends.

They have no dine in for a while now.Most of the people order sushi party trays here and they only accept cash on party tray order.Quality of fish and rice is above average in compare to all the "Japanese sushi party trays restaurants" in the area.I can easily name 10 more Japanese restaurants you can order sushi party trays within 10km of AiSushi Markham.In my opinion AiSushi Markham is in my Top 2 out of all the other restaurants.Food quality is very consistent (last 12 months or more), my family never said "today's order is not very good" or "maybe they changed their Sushi chef. It always taste good... So far.so.goodRecently they control the take out pick up time very well so you don't go there at your pick up time and still wait 20-30 mins.They also have a pager system now so you can wait in your car if your order is not readyThey deserve 5 stars as a take out only Japanese sushi restaurant.I really cannot compare them to those Proper authentic Japanese restaurants.
We usually get the assorted sushi-sashimi-rolls platters (cash only). I would say 4 out of 5 times they're really good. The one-off time is just a bit not perfect. Good price for the quality that they give you. It's nice that you can order ahead online too. If you have their VIP card you also get 10% off. It's definitely one of my go-to place when I have some sushi cravings to go.
After trying this location and others AiSushi in Scarborough etc I've gotten an idea of the restaurant. This is a value for money restaurant and provides 'ok' quality of food. The thing that disappoints is the quality of the rolls, they tend to fall apart very easily, I would say a little better than homemade rolls or on par with buffet grade sushi. Sorry if the review is lacklustre but it was just that. I'll order from here again but will depend on the occasion.
This is my favorite place to get deluxe donburi. The sashimi is always fresh and buttery, the rice is seasoned well, and there’s a lot of attention to detail. Not to mention, the price is unbeatable!
Sushi is the absolute best here! Fresh and flavourful, and the price is phenomenal. Definitely worth getting platters here (I usually get assorted Maki).My go to place whenever I order for get together a/parties. You can order online ahead of time and pick it up when you need it!
They make great fresh sushi and its definitely the best bang for your buck. The food is pretty good and the service is fast and friendly. They are currently only doing pick up for COVID but their service is still great. If you're looking for take out sushi, give this place a try!

I never left a bad review before , but I usually order from the Scarborough location and decided to try out the markham location. 2 hours after eating this me and my bf felt SICK to our stomachs and ended up spending the rest of the day home stuck on the couch and in the washroom. I dont know what the heck it was but either someone wasn't cleaning something or the fish temperature was wrong but I should NEVER feel like this after eating sushi especially after I paid $50.
This is my absolute go-to sushi place in Markham. I've mostly just ordered the platters from them, but you cannot beat the price for the quality you get. I can't comment on the other items on their menu, but I assume it would be of similar high quality. My one qualm is that during the busy periods, your order can get delayed. Even if you schedule in advance for a pickup at a certain time, if it's really busy it can get pushed back 10+ minutes. Personally, I just order more in advance and I don't have a problem. I still give them 5 stars despite this because the value can't be beat.
