Went for breakfast. Food was overall well made but was overpriced. 20 dollars for eggs, bacon, sausage and coffee.Could be mitigated by having a larger portion size particularly for the eggs.

Waiter forgot my syrup, she apologized & offered to make me new ones, but after waiting 15 mins I was past being hungryNeedless to say the experience wasn't great. But they also only had one waiter for the whole restaurantAlso if the menu says " fresh strawberries" don't be alarmed when you get your plate, bec they're defrosted mushy frozen strawberries. Tbh could of done better at home, sausages were good but considering wimpys is a chain they're probably maple leaf or done other pre cooked brand.

So much selection! I loved the fact I could get an eggs Benedict with onions rings. Granted that was a VERY filling brunch, and I ended up taking the onion rings home but hey that kind of substitution was able to be made! Get the parmesan wings, I'd say get the sauce on the side instead of on the wings. Great service, waitresses are bubbly! Will be back ?

This restaurant is only living to serve the elderly. I’ve lived in London my whole life and the handful of times I’ve gone to Wimpys the service was mediocre, the atmosphere tired and dated and the food bland and underwhelming.Recently we went in for breakfast simply because it was the closest restaurant… wow the prices have gone up. No doubt due to the pandemic, but I’m sorry charging $3 for a tiny cup of coffee, $4 for a small cup of orange juice, and $12 for standard breakfast and $18 and up for anything outside of eggs and toast… they’ll put themselves out of business was with these ABSURD food prices. They’re only catering to people over 70yesrs old and I’m not sure how they can afford those prices either. Huge waste of money, would recommend walking out before ordering like we did.

Disappointing.Wimpy's Diner has been our preferred restaurant to eat at for a quick meal. When the breakfast arrived this morning, the eggs, meat, potatoes and toast were only slightly above room temperature. I am guessing that the breakfast was left at room temperature for over 5 minutes before it was brought to our table. If we had more time, I would have requested a hot meal.On a positive note, Wimpy's Diner provides good portions that have an enjoyable taste. Is Wimpy's Diner understaffed for a Sunday morning?

Someone recently told us that the Greek Salad at Wimpy's was the best they had ever eaten. So, we decided to give it a try for dinner tonight. What a disappointment. Our server, Kieara, was terrific. More about her later. We couldn't make up our minds between a Greek or Caesar Salad, should we also have fish or fish-n-chips? Then we saw that they have Haddock, lightly breaded, with fries and Greek salad. So, we thought, why not? First we were brought tea and hot water. Except the water wasn't really very hot, so the tea really had not much taste. Then our dinners came. The Greek Salad was served with a small (inadequate) amount of dressing on the side. We had to ask for more dressing. It was perhaps the best of the otherwise mediocre food. I would suggest mixing the salad with the dressing in the kitchen, rather than serving salad with dressing on the side. The garlic toast might have been in a room where there was garlic, but sadly, none of it ever made it to the bread. And, the toast was cold. Let's talk about the haddock. There were two pieces on each of our plates. One of them looked like it had been on the frying pan a bit too long. But, there was very little evidence that it ever had been on a frying pan (other than the colour) because the fish wasn't very warm; nor did it have any taste. The french fries looked great, but they were only lukewarm, and tasteless. I tasted one of my wife's onion rings, and it was completely cold. This meal was a waste of calories, a waste of money, and a waste of time. Our server, Kieara, sensed our lack of enthusiasm when she asked us how the meal was. But, she, cleverly, suggested that we try something different "next time". I doubt that there will be a next time, since I think we were there twice tonight: the first and the last time.

The location has changed hands a few times over the years but retained the diner feel. We had all day breakfast. Food is good and portions are generous. Will go again.

We have eaten here several times, and I can say that I have always liked the food. The portions are reasonable, and the prices are affordable. The service is always excellent.

We like this restaurant for breakfast because it is close to where we live. However, the last three times we have been there the breakfast is not hot. We have asked the server to make sure it’s hot but it’s always “just warm”. Today the coffee was “just warm” and my over medium eggs were “over easy”. To pay $30 plus tip for warm coffee and eggs that are not cooked to my liking is way too much. We tried, but obviously there’s not much more we can do. WE WON’T BE BACK.

Service was great but the food tasted like it was under heat lamps for too long. Burger was tough and a bit dry, so was the Philly sandwich. Coffee and fries were good.
