Scott our waiter was amazing. My friend and I wanted to share a couple of items and appetizers and he said it would be no problem. We were so delighted when the plates appeared with each item divided for us on individual plates! A small thing, taking a little time on his part, but made our overall experience so great. We felt taken care of in every way and every detail. This along with the great quality food made for a wonderful evening. Thanks Scott and thanks Mark Kitching for giving us great food and fabulous staff.
We were greeted with a smile and an explanation that when there is a concert in town reservations are required. We started to leave when a downpour started. Having no umbrella we would been soaked and still had to find a place to eat. Just then the owner came out and offered us a place at the bar to eat. If I could rate the food and service ten stars I would. The food was full of flavor and the breadsticks melt in your mouth. Ryan makes a mean spicy Cesar! Yum, Yum! The service from the staff was above professional. They all had smiles and made you feel so welcome. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting quality food and the most relaxed welcoming atmosphere! Thank you!
It’s hard to say which is better, Waldo’s on King’s food (which is outstanding) or the staff (who are truly world class). Mark Kitching has created a space in which his staff seem personally invested in your dining experience. Tonight we were greeted warmly and immediately, and made to feel very welcome. Our server Kathleen was utterly perfect: attentive, engaging, personable and fun, but in no way intrusive. The steak was cooked to perfection and every bite was delicious. This is not the first time I’ve had a great experience at Waldo’s on King, and I can highly recommend them to anyone looking for an elegant but relaxed atmosphere, excellent staff, and top notch meals.
No but seriously Scott was so good to us and was always there even before we needed him! He made our night great!!
We stay in London overnight a couple of times a year. We have a favourite restaurant we usually choose but it was closed last Sunday night so we looked on Trip Advisor and decided to try Waldo’s on King. We had a great meal and a terrific waiter….Scott. He recommended the spicy mussels and they were some of the best we’ve had. My husband and I were sharing them and it was nice that they came to the table already split into two portions. We both had lake trout for the main meal. I had mine pan fried and my husband couldn’t decide so Scott said he could get half pan fried and half deep fried. Everything was delicious and I know we will definitely come here again.
Came here for a nice date night and we had a wonderful time! Our server Scott provided excellent service, the atmosphere was very romantic, and the food was fabulous!
Visited Waldo's for the first time on a whim. We are so glad we did! The service was excellent and the food came quickly and was outstanding! Sanam was our server and she was very welcoming and friendly. The Ahi Tuna was exquisite. The Pork medallions were tender and delicious! The pasta bar was very fresh and customized to your taste. The Striploin was tender and cooked to perfection! If you are visiting London I highly recommend this jewel in the downtown core!
Great service, great food, (I think she was the manager, wearing a black and white stripe shirt with black pants) Excellent manager that came to check on our table. It was my first time here along with my sister and the food was great! I didn’t get a hold of our server’s name but she was excellent also and helpful. I will be returning because this is now my favorite place.
We (my friend and I) had a wonderful Friday night dinner at Waldo’s Our server/wine connoisseur was Scott and he couldn’t have been more patient or accommodating Thanks for a great memory !
