Service was great, inside dining was festive but it was so hot and muggy inside. You know when the chips and salsa taste like out of a can your worried what the food will taste like, too. The chipotle sauce on the steak was delicious and the ground beef taco was great...but the rice, beans fell so shortt with flavour. Half of our chicken and pulled pork tacos were picked at and its sad when the fries of a mexican restaurant were the best part.

This is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to!It felt very authentic. And the vibe of the restaurant was phenomenal! They put a lot of effort into making you feel like you're in a different world (with their elaborate interior decor). We had 2 mains — enchiladas and quesadillas. See photos. They both tasted amazing. The pricing is not cheap — but it's fair. :)For 2 people, you can expect a bill of $50 (after tax and 20% tip). The staff was nice. There was no wait time on Friday night (for 2 people).Highly recommend. We're excited to try this place again.

Great place for Mexican cuisine.Ambience is laid back and relaxed can have a great conversation without the overtone of loud music.Staff is friendly and recommend good dishes based on your preferences. The food was on point.Taste/ flavour and the doneness was 100%Will definitely return back for more. The chimichanga was very well fried, nothing burnt and all ingredients tasted fresh and delicious. The Jalapenos Rellenos is my personal favorite, the Jalapenos pack a good punch with spice and balances out with the cheese, tomatoes, onions and other ingredients. This was shared between two and we were full.

Always a great experience. I was served by Jeff this past weekend, he was great. I had the fajitas and my mom had the tapia fish. We had the baja bites for an appetizer. All were very delicious! Spiced just right with large portions and a fun Mexican atmosphere. My favourite Mexican restaurant in London.

This used to be one of my favorite spots in London to eat. After many years, I have returned to London with a guest and wanted to share this restaurant experience with my spouse. We ordered the steak fajita's as well as chips and salsa. When the food arrived the fajita's had a funky smell to them, and the meat was extremely tough. The waitress admitted many people do not like the tumeric smell/flavor. She disappeared to the kitchen and came back a while later (restaurant wasn't that busy at the time). After the delay, the food was cold, the waitress only offer was to recook he meat with less spice and we were told "that is how they are made". We declined another ordered based on what was first presented. The waitress came back, smirked and gave us a bill for full price. We will never be back. Horrible way to handle customers.

I went there with friends and there were 4 open tables that were not cleared yet and they told us it was a 45 minute wait and they couldn’t do anything because there was 1 server. I even offered to clear off the table and sit down but the “issue” was one server only around. This business should do better and not expect customers to feel happy after having this encounter as soon as they walk in, especially for the first time. There was another couple discussing the same and told the hostess how frustrated he was. Me or my friends will never be coming back to this establishment, a horrible first interaction with this restaurant and very unprofessional.

Not a bad place to eat, definitely would not be near my first choice though. Prices are pretty high, portion sizes are decent enough, and service is good. However, the food seemed awfully watery and makes me believe that certain menu items are microwaved.

Highlights- a fabulous waitress (Caprice), free chips and salsa, bottomless fountain drinks and delicious fried ice cream. We first visited in the 70s when the restaurant was in an old house on Colborne St. south of the tracks. Then we followed them to Richmond St. across from the Shelby building. Currently, they are on Wharncliffe @ Riverside. There are some excellent points as mentioned above. Service was exceptional. Caprice refilled the drinks without even being asked. The house-made chips were warm, crisp and tasty but the salsa had an odd flavour. I found the entree prices high! I and both my grand daughters ordered chimichangas- pork, Chipotle steak and chicken @ $21.49 each- they have to be the most expensive in town and the plates weren’t good enough to warrant that price. Mine was underdone on the bottom. The cole slaw wasn’t great with 2 out of our 3 leaving it. With the refried beans, all I could taste was chili powder. The meal just wasn’t good value. The fried ice cream in a taco bowl was delicious @ $9.79. Total bill for 3 with no alcohol was $90.67 + tip. I will be comparing other Mexican restaurants to find better value without compromising quality.

I have recently been to under the volcano and decided to go back tonight. The server made went above and beyond. The food is great and has excellent portions. We will definitely be back.

Great food, awesome service
