Best nachos.. ever!!! Seriously, everything at this place is amazing. Highly recommend trying the Squire

Really nice and quaint venue. Server was very nice and the establishment was clean. We only had basic drinks but the cocktail list looked appealing.

As bad as it can get. I ordered the Fish & Chips and got a thing that looked like it had been battered in a cornflakes concoction with absolutely no flavour - there was no seasoning much less the flavour of fish. It was a tasteless, flat and unappetizing thing. Made from scratch this was not as it was made so fast something about it had to have been precooked. The Caesar salad which accompanied it and was an "upgrade" to the fries was wilted and yellowed so badly that it should have been tossed out rather than tossed and offered to a paying customer. The lemon wedge that came with it was an insult as it was not a wedge but more of a cube of lemon - essentially a chunk from a wedge about half an inch by half an inch in dimension (stingy beyond belief and a red light that this establishment is concerned about cutting corners at the expense of customer satisfaction and experience). The lemon cube was the only fresh thing about the entire plate. It was very clear that the food in this establishment is not about providing a delicious meal but about meeting the minimum requirement needed to be able to sell beer and liquor. Do not come here to eat because you will be disappointed. The Stella I ordered had turned and I sent it promptly back in exchange for a dark ale which was only marginally better. I know good beer when I drink it and this was not it.The service was friendly but inattentive. I was only asked how the food was when it was clear I had finished eating because I moved the plate aside and placed my napkin on top. Perhaps the waiters and waitresses knew something about the food I did not and explains why they did not inquire about it in a timely manner.Overall this place seems to be one more in a long line of bad restaurants in London one should avoid. The spacious dining room and comfortable ambiance are the only positive things about this bar restaurant and it does not make up for bad food, questionable beer, and mediocre service. $37.00+ dollars poorer I walked away disappointed, and still hungry and with the distinct impression that I had been taken for a fool.Avoid The Squire Pub & Grill.

Very disappointed. We ended up with a big bill of $68 for a sandwich with fires and salad and two draft beer. The bartender added an 18% service charge without saying anything and we tipped again. Called the restaurant and left our phone number for the manager to call. He called and we told him about the extra charges. He was arrogant and he makes us to feel it was our fault because we didn’t check the extra charges in the bill. It was big ripoff and we won’t go back.

Cozy, chic place. Great location for a bite before an event or evening downtown. Their bourbon cocktail is my new favourite! Ate the fish tacos which were so yummy. Server was friendly and the whole staff seemed to work as a team. Definitely would return.

Had the pleasure of dining here before a Knight's game. The staff was awesome and very attentive. The food was amazing. The deep fried pickles were exceptional, as was the chicken club sandwich. Good value food and cold beer - what more do you need? Maybe a reservation or get there early as to not be disappointed. Looking forward to a return visit. Tonight perhaps - Go Knights Go!!

great food. slow service and if you have a party of 6 or more they add 18% tip and just add it when you pay debit/credit. it's not on the bill for you to see

Operating at full capacity last night (Mar 11, 2022).Some good things: able to make a table reservation, orders taken from and brought to table, live guitarist/singer, lots of tv screens to watch from, excellent location, friendly fellow patrons who keep an eye out on things, a server made a helpful announcement to prevent a couple of people from being parking-ticketed.Not great things: I was standing at the bar wearing a medical face mask waiting to order drinks. An unmasked, bearded server came up and said "What are you doing!?" while gesturing to his mouth, implying that he thought I shouldn't be wearing one anymore. Later, a different server came to our table to bill us and 3 separate members of our party thought that they'd been charged for drinks they never had. Both of these incidents were less than professional.

This place has the most amazing food I've had at a pud ever! The deep fried pickles were the best we've ever had! Amazing service, quick drinks and food and such a great atmosphere. First time going and for sure will be back again. Highly recommended

5 Stars is not nearly enough of an accolade to convey my appreciation & gratitude for the team at the Squire!I reached out to see if they were doing takeout orders during the current lockdown; unfortunately they were not. I explained to the girl on the phone that it was my boyfriend’s birthday, and his favorite deep fried pickles ever are from here. Without me even asking if they would make a special exception, they went out of their way to make this special order even though they aren’t doing take out! They were incredibly gracious and accommodating and really helped to pull off one of my birthday surprises. The Squire is highly recommended. The food is amazing, service is top notch and it is at the top of our list for locally run businesses deserving of support out of lockdown.
