Had a wonderful meal with incredible service, loved the atmosphere! Highly recommend the venison and the lamb. We will definitely be back.

More a 2.5 than a 3 but has the elements to be much better. Our experience from a recent Monday evening dinner was a mixed bag of some good and some than needs much improvement. On arrival at 17:30 there was one other table of 2 seated. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable and is the main reason I didn’t score even lower. We ordered some drinks and a main course each (we were informed they were down to one venison loin so my wife ordered that-medium rare as recommended and I opted for salmon). Not long after we placed our order another couple were seated (seemed to be regular diners) and a table of 3 shortly after them. This is a decent sized venue with a light and airy open space and what looks like a nice sized and semi covered patio attached on the east side. It has many things going for it.However speed of service and remarkable food are definitely missing in the equation. The couple I mentioned who were there when we arrived placed their food order just ahead of ours and were pretty much paying and leaving as our food arrived and the party of 3 seated nearby were getting dishes just after our 2 mains came. The wait for our food was looooooong, the server apologized several times as she could see we were clearly waiting far too long. The proteins were okay and the accompanying items on the plate were okay if not uninspired (especially for the price points).Overall neither of us were impressed and agree we would not hurry back nor are we likely to recommend. Now I understand that during a busy service things can slow down a bit but this was neither busy nor excusable and no one took any steps to ameliorate the glacial pace of service despite having more than ample time to offer up something to help alleviate the problem. As for the food, it was okay but could be much better.

We were able to have our last minute funeral reception here. The staff were so friendly and the owner was checking in to ensure everyone was satisfied and everything was OK. The food was so delicious. Best cheesecake I have ever had. For such a sad occasion, it was truly the best experience. I am so thankful we were able to dine here and have our guests come. I will be back here again because the food was truly the best I have ever had. Thank you again.

Our server Alana, really paid attention to our needs and wants., extremely professional and welcoming! The food was amazing and the restaurant has such a wonderful atmosphere. Will definately recommend to others!!

Incredible food! Incredible staff! Incredible ambience! Many of my 21 guests had never been to the Springs. They could not stop talking about how amazing the food tasted ... and looked! The staff were extremely competent and professional. It was a truly memorable evening!

We went here tonight to celebrate my Mom’s 80th birthday. The food was great for the most part, but the atmosphere and service were truly terrible. The waiter we had (he had lines shaved into his hair - I only say that to distinguish him) never checked on us. He did not come to ask how our appetizers were, nor our meal - and when wine glasses were empty he was no where to be found. There were many children there tonight, which I do not blame the restaurant for. However, they were up and down / running about at times, which is not the experience you expect. We were planning on getting desert, but as it took so long for our plates to be cleared (truly… a long time) we did not get it there. My mom had to eventually flag down a waiter (not ours) who helped us.I understand restaurants get busy, I do. I am also usually a very understanding person in general. However, when you are talking about a 300 meal, you expect service which is at least adequate. Finally, who we presume to be the owner saw that my parents were upset (before the plates were cleared, mid her calling down a waiter). Instead of helping, or saying anything of sustenance - he said “amazing?”Sir, I am sorry, but no. Not amazing.

My wife and I had lunch today and first impressions were very warm and friendly staff. The decor is very classy/casual combination with great lighting. The meal was absolutely delicious and prepared with fresh ingredients that satisfied us both. The owner took the time to say hello and welcome us. We will definitely be back soon! Thank you again!

Today I attempted to use a $150 gift card at The Springs restaurant, but was refused because they said the card was too old. They gave some excuses (many of which I have now proven to be false) which include the fact they are under new ownership. However, given the fact the restaurant is in the same location, serves the same food, has the same name, it seems clear they are still required to honour the gift card. Even if they are under new ownership, outstanding monies collecting via the sale of gift cards would have been included in the financial disclosure at the time of the business purchase. Therefore, they have received the $150, but are now refusing to honour the card.Canada has legislation that dictates a gift card shall be valid indefinitely (cannot expire), yet the restaurant seems to want to make their own rules.

Had great service and dinner over the weekend. Loved our meals and the wine selection. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely dinner!!! The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Cooked perfectly and served hot. Topped off had one of my favourite wine available. Will be back !!!!!
