I’ve been a patron for a LONG time. Staff and food are ALWAYS incredible. I support their right to ask for proof of vaccination to keep staff and patrons safe! Keep it up please.We’ve celebrated my birthday and my partners here. Never disappoint. Plus BEST wings in town!
Came in for an impromptu brunch with a friend and we were so very surprised (we had no idea what to expect). The interior is so cozy and the staff are all so friendly. Brunch was delicious! Excited to come back again.* when we went they were still checking vaccines. As what seems like a small business- kudos to them for keeping their staff safe :)
First time here and it was great. Awesome beer selection. I had the chicken clubwich and it was HUGE. The sweet potato fries, probably the best I've had. The prices are very reasonable. What I got here would have cost an extra $5 somewhere else and less portion. The service was great too. I will definitely be going here again and will be recommending it to friends.
Pros- Small pub feel, great food. If you like to experiment with different beers and great meals, this is the spot. I try something different every time I go and haven’t left disappointed. Also, If you’re a scotch connoisseur, this is the place. Literally dozens of choices. Cons- dated interior, zero music, and only one of two T.V’s in the bar are working, no sports coverage.
The best darn wings I have ever had !We ordered whiskey dry rub and Louisiana wings- they were the bomb. We also ordered Lomita burger which was amazing as well.The interiors are cute and the service was pretty quick.100% worth driving 2 hrs ! ?
My first time at this place. My wife has told me in the past how great this place was since she has been before during work lunches.We had a great table overlooking Dundas St.Ambiance was great and warm inside the waiter/service was spot on.I had the meatloaf, my wife had the Big Salad, and my son had the Jumbolaya. All 3 dishes cooked perfectly, served hot and tasted fabulous.We finished by sharing a slice of Twix Pie. Do yourself a favour and get this amazing tasting desert. You WILL be happy you did!I was planning on taking photos but consumed it before i remembered to snap a photo.
Considering we now know that the experimental jabs actually cause the production of the spike proteins we wish to avoid, this business' virtue signalling and mandating a medical procedure to attend their venue will go down in history as contributing to the fatal outcomes of their guests. In the US alone over 20,000 deaths have been caused by these experiments. I would never come back to this venue. Imagine the state of their cleanliness (I've been there, and it isn't pretty) when they probably also think hand sanitizer at the door is good too. (PS it causes cancer). I wonder if they will also re-institute coloured water fountains while they're at it? Segregation and discrimination is the same no matter how you slice it.
Great wings and draught beer, great burger (the Mo), the salmon looked great, guacamole and chips were a hit, spicy catfish great, homemade desserts were absolutely delicious. Nice atmosphere (the old house and rooms brought good conversation).Hostess station friendly upon entering , waitress (Kate) really a natural, friendly and very accommodating while putting in a really concerted effort. Good food speed and temperature.Will definitely return.
I'm sorry to say I was disappointed after looking forward for some time to going there. I had heard many good recommendations.it was at lunch and the chicken waffles was advertised outside. The place was cold. We had to sit next to the small heater. The coffee machine had broken down (couldn't they get a replacement?). The gravy on the chicken was a grey colour and terrible. The chicken was breaded poorly and was not good. The only saving grace was the tater tots which were good. I'm not in a hurry to go back.
Stopped by with reference from a friend. The food was fine but the staff was not that nice. Not sure if she was having a bad day or she did not like our table with a 10-month baby who is not quiet enough. I will not recommend to my friends.
