This was our curbside pickup order. Classic Club wrap was completely charred and tasted awful, pot pie didn't even have a complete crust and spilled everywhere.Restaurant is 2 mins away from our apartment and it's not like we set the bag on fire or windmilled it all the way upstairs. Not the first time the food from this location has been an issue.
To our surprise, our service was quite subpar tonight. Our server was very kind but the only one for the entire restaurant. As she ran around the facility, her colleagues were too busy flirting with a table for the majority of our stay. To our displease we also saw one of them wipe their nose with the entirety of their hand to then serve to a table. We had to wander to the kitchen to have someone help take our order because our lady was too overrun and couldn't be found.Lastly there were a few items on our orders that we had to ask a few times for - not a huge deal.It seems they need a manager to keep their hostesses working and at least another server to help out. Yeah I know, times are tough finding servers.. but this needed to be posted.
The quality of the chicken was acceptable but nowhere near the level of tenderness it had in the 90s. It was immediately obvious that the chicken had been sitting out for a while. The waitress managed to get the wrong order of both my chicken and fries and did not seem perturbed about the mistake. The Shirley temple, once a vibrant red with a maraschino cherry and orange slice in its cheerful red-tinged cup, was instead served a pitiful pale pink in a dull beer glass, devoid of the iconic cherry and orange slice. Not what it used to be, I regret returning as an adult, the pleasant childhood nostalgia is now tainted.
We got a large take out meal with chicken, chicken wings, ribs, spring rolls and various sides. The spring rolls were okay. The chicken was anemic looking and dry, as were the ribs. The buns were stale and very chewy. The chicken wings were good, but heavily breaded. They put the whole order together in 10 minutes which suggests they were just putting old food in a bag for us instead of making anything fresh. I guess you get what you pay for. Used to love Swiss chalet but now I think they’ve been forced to cut their quality to stay alive, and it shows. Kind of sad.
I ordered the double leg combo through Door Dash and it was neatly presented. Food was good too.
Ordered food when restaurant first opened. It had me curious because it took under 10 min for my food to be prepared. It arrived and my fries were soggy like they had been microwaved from the night b4. Completely disappointed figured I'd get fresh as fresh because of ordering at the beginning of the day.
ordered for first time in a while - ordered chicken strips with plum sauce and asked for butter and utensils - no plum sauce, butter or utensils - chicken strips are miniscule and about 4" in length as well - not worth the $17
Today I have visited the restaurants with my friends and I have ordered chicken wings with hot sauce. I really liked the food the fries they served was very tasty and fresh. Moreover, the interior ambiance of the restaurant is nice and they keep the table very clean. Thank you for your service. I love it ❤
Last night i came up with my family, it was a busy night and we have ordered for 4 quarter white and a ribs. First i thought it would take a lot of time but the guys over the restaurant surprised me, within 5 mins they have bring the things which we have ordered, such a fast serving. Moreover, the chicken was well cooked and fresh, personally i like the ribs with their bbq sauce, it is amazing. Once again big shout-out to the servers and cook who made our day.
Didn't get any tartar sauce with my fish and chips, also ordered a 6 pack of beer (for 25$ mind you) and got a light beer instead of what I actually ordered. You'd think for 80$ they could get 2 simple meals right. *sigh*
