I can't believe this was my first visit. Two thumbs up (one from me, and one from my 14 year old granddaughter/pasta connoisseur). Wait staff were very friendly and helpful, since it was our first visit. They even gave us samplers of the sauces when we couldn't decide between the red and the alfredo. I had veggie sauce (linguini with fresh veggies) and she opted for alfredo linguini. We could only eat half of our servings, so you know what will be in our lunch boxes tomorrow! Sooooo delicious, hot, fresh, tasty. Now, the decor: what a great place to eat comfort food. It was like a blast from the past, with semi-private booths, the walls and ceiling littered with tchotchke, antiques and oddball bric-a-brac in a restaurant that is below street surface. Didn't try any cocktails, but I saw some good looking bevvies headed to another table. Prices were comparable to other pasta joints, good value for money spent.
I've been living in London most of my life and I have only heard good reviews about Spageddy Eddy's and... the facts are true! It's pretty good! Great portion, lots of sauce and the price is pretty fair! I ordered chicken fettuccine. Yum!
My plate of seafood fettuccine pasta was absolutely huge, I saw someone here recommend it and I'm pretty vanilla when it comes to pasta so I decided to try something new. The crab was very interesting but a good mild touch to the plate. I absolutely loved the garlic bread, it must have been half of a whole baguette. Speaking of big, my large root beer was about twice the size of one you would get at a chain restaurant. I went because it was my 9 months date with my girlfriend and she loved her spaghetti dish and french onion soup a lot so we will definitely come by to visit again. The whole scenery and grungy underground vibe of the restaurant along with 80s-90s music was just great. The overall price was great for the food we ordered. Super satisfied, left a good tip because they earned it, 10/10.
Good, reasonably priced spaghetti and other pasta dishes. Large portions. Friendly yet professional staff. Cool decor. There for more than 30 years.
Great hidden gem for authentic home cooked pasta !The best menu item is the Chicken Parm !! ?Nice waitressOld world traditional decor makes you forget your in LondonSome of the best tasting wine ?Cabernet Sauvignon was fresh no sulphitesI’m guessing it was homemade⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I came here with my grandson, and the restaurant had absolutely no AC or fans. My kid had to drink his entire soda just to stay moderately cool! When the waitress came, we both ordered a chicken Parm and waited what felt like an incredibly long time for it to arrive. As we waited, my grandson went downstairs to the bathroom and felt unsafe and unsettled, and when he came up he told me there was no water in the men's bathroom sink! The food was a giant heaping of spaghetti with one small thing of chicken, where the breading was gross and soft, and tasted like the frozen chicken we eat in our microwaved dinners a ton. My grandson asked if it was frozen, and the server wasn't even sure before admitting she thought it was. Overall, very dissapointed. Good atmosphere and friendly servers, but poor food, parking, air conditioning and more.
Huge delicious portions for a great price! ? I've dined at this place quite a few times for over a decade now. I also went on a "first date" with a girl over 10 years ago now, to see a band at the neighboring Music Hall. we met up downtown hours early before the concert so I took her to this restaurant. We now have a 10 year old daughter, and THIS restaurant is her absolute favorite place. ??
Simply Amazing! Staff were incredible!!!..Food was the best! A must!!!
Great Food, huge portions friendly service and affordable what more can you ask for
Simple pasta place, my toddler enjoyed it, so that's why I'm generously giving 3 stars, it was a no fuss dinner. Otherwise it would just be 2 stars because I found a long strand of black hair in my spaghetti sauce. I also prefer a spaghetti with more sauce and noodles that are more al dente. The alfredo sauce just tasted like cream, not much flavour.
