From beginning to end, our breakfast here was top-notch. Great service. Utterly delicious food. (This was our first experience of peameal bacon, being from Michigan, and it won't be our last.) The tea-drinker in our group received as much consideration as the coffee-drinker, a rare occurrence. The next time we drive through Ontario on our way to our East Coast family, we will plan our trip so we can stop here again. I can't wait!
Great breakfast offerings at the Southside Grill, very affordable and you get tons of food. I had the Super Duper and it was plenty to get me full for two sittings :) Sausages were delicious, the bacon was the perfect point of crispy yet savory, eggs done perfectly, the peameal bacon is to die for (and worth the upgrade), two toast done right, French toast great and the pancake fluffy and full of flavor. The homestyle restaurant that is becoming a rare find these days. DO NOT MISS THIS GEM. Went to London and ate at Southside grill. Not only was the food amazing but we had the best waitress ever. Her name is Leslie and she is amazing. She was the epitome of what good customer service is. She made our lunch experience so amazing and invited us back for breakfast the next day. We came for breakfast and it was also amazing.I highly recommend this restaurant if ever you are in London, Ontario. Best food for the best value, and the best service!!!!!!
I went to London, Ontario for a concert. It was recommended by the hotel staff from Hampton Inn to go eat lunch at Southside grill. As they have great food and prices. We went there and met Leslie the waitress. She was wonderful and had a great sense of humour! The food was awesome!!! They give you so much food at a great price. Leslie was so great describing how wonderful the dessert was I ended up buying dessert for later. We came back to Southside Grill for breakfast the next day and asked for Leslie. The breakfast was just as delicious as the lunch (you have to try the chicken and waffles!). We will definitely be back!!!
A clean family friendly restaurant with plenty of tasty no-frills food options. The kids menu items are extremely generous. The wait staff was excellent with the kids.
I had a nice breakfast of Waffles and Bacon down here. I met with some people from work in the am hours on a week day and the restaurant was pretty quiet for the most part. Clean, cozy, attentive staff and good food. Above all, they have some pretty good prices!I took a look at the team of four’s breakfast bill and it was around $63 for us.Overall, I would recommend this spot. It’s also right next to the 401.

Excellent dinner; sirloin steak dinner; fish and chips plus ;Thai chicken dinner; Greek salad was probably the best I’ve had forever.Surprise. Foods great ! Not over priced!? Large portions.. go hungry.Definitely be back.Thanks.
One of my favorite diners. I love it there, the food is so delicious, wonderful and very friendly staff. Ample parking for every one and the restaurant is easily accessible. They still practice CDC protocols which I find remarkable because they make sure every customer feels safe. Beautiful restaurant
Lovely breakfast arrived quickly despite our large group. Extensive breakfast menu options with some interesting stuff that I don't usually see. Friendly service and covid policies are still being observed which made us all feel safe to be there. We will certainly be back.
