Edit: Not sure if they changed the staff or what. I were stuck at work until late and was hoping to grab some fried chicken on the way home. I tried to call around 20 minutes before closing and ask if it was too late to make an order or not, and the person who answered the phone was extremely rude, and then hung up on me when I asked for clarification on something. I don't like leaving negative reviews and I really loved this place, but I have some pretty bad social anxiety and this level of abrasiveness is just too much for me :(
I've been going to Rob's for years. My family usually gets the wicked chicken sandwiches with taters and we love them. It's not greasy like other places and the food is always hot & fresh. The chicken is prepared in house not processed and the taters are crispy on the outside but still fluffy on the inside. The staff are a friendly bunch. Will be back again.
Heard about Rob's wicked chicken from a friend. I love my fried chicken and have eaten it all over the America's. I have to admit I love their chicken. Ranks right up there in my top 5 places. I tell everybody about this place. Keep on making the wicked chicken the way you do. I love it!!!!
Love this place! Best chicken place in town! Better than kfc and Mary browns. The taters are amazing and the chicken is cooked just right. The staff are beyond friendly and the store is clean.
Absolutely the best chicken and wedges in London, I was delightfully surprised to see how busy it was and each and every person that was in there said how "amazing the food was" on their way out! The service was the best I've received in years, even a hand shake from the owner on the way out.....Do yourselves a favour and get this place on your weekly eat out list. Bravo Rob Bravo....
Only giving 2 stars because the customer service was awesome however the chicken was just average….nothing special. The batter was falling off, wasn’t crunchy, a little salty actually. I was really excited to eat the chicken based on the reviews however am very disappointed by how it turned out.
Wicked chicken sandwich was very tasty, wedges are seasoned and cooked well, very nicely cooked hand cut fries. Korean chicken was awesome, worth every dollar. Fried chicken was also tasty. Go and visit Rob!
I can't say enough of about the experience! The Fries are incredible (Korean secret) and the chicken burger was overwhelming! I would also like to say I appreciate the time the owner took with my dad. We went straight from the doctors then got lunch. My first visit but definitely not my last... This place has good food, good people and good Heart
The food is great, even if sometimes a little salty, even so our family used to eat here weekly as Rob's Wicked Chicken is my dad's favorite place to eat. Sadly we've had to stop going tho because the lady who works the counter is inappropriately friendly. Like, last summer she actually say down at the table with our family as we were trying to eat and started gossiping about the owner, the people in the neighborhood and other customers. SHE. SAT. DOWN. AT. OUR. TABLE!!!! LIKE SHE WAS PART OF THE FAMILY! I was so uncomfortable I couldn't even eat my dinner and we ended up packing up our food and leaving. It's unfortunate because we really enjoyed the food but but that was the last straw for us. We can tolerate the gossip, the disorganized way they operate, we can even tolerate the hollering back and forth from the dining room to the kitchen but we WILL NOT TOLERATE, this strange woman pulling up a chair during our meal and chatting us up like we're friends. Absolutely unprofessional. Unfortunate for Rob because he's really a great guy and we want to support a local neighborhood mom and pop business but his staff makes it impossible. Hopefully Rob sees this and talks to his staff because we'd really like to come back for some Wicked Chicken but the lady who works the counter..... Nah. We'll eat elsewhere and not have strangers join us.
I have Known Rob and family also the workers for a very long time. I read the reviews and awesome comments. I can concur with Wicked Chicken that the dining room has been closed for a year or so due to pandemic. I find that the restaurant is in tip top shape. I love the Hot Chicken and friendly service. Place is usually busy with people inside and out. Rob is the best chicken house around. Friendly Service.
