Popeye's does not care about their customers at all. Corporate will not address your issues and will only refer the problems to local management who have clearly "checked out" anyway. Don't go to this Popeye's. Don't go to any Popeye's. The quality is garbage, they clearly never change their oil and they can't even be bothered to open their stores at the posted hours. Then when they finally open it takes over 45 minutes for chicken nuggets. What a joke. Will be glad to see Popeye's Canada go under because that's clearly where they're headed.
On jun3 2022 ordered tenders. Instead of the juicy,tender meat found that all the strips were dry stringy and tough. Have been corresponding with head office for 7 weeks awaiting the stores response. Won't go to Popeyes without some assurance that this was a "one off" store has ignored head office requests to contact me. I don't want free food, just a guarantee that I will be able to eat the food
Great tasting and really fresh chicken. Sides were also fresh and tasty with probably one of the best and fastest service of all the Popeyes that I have been too.
This is disgusting they are allowing the chicken to sit for over an hour and telling me I can't have freshly cooked food I was a cook for 13 years and would never let anything sit for more than 15 min most disgusting and discrassfull to the name supposed to be better food than KFC id rather eat KFC nasty chicken than this place asked for freshly cooked was told too much work we have to sell this first will never eat at another popeyes again knowing they let their chicken sit in a heat lamp for hours at a time were is the standards for this place
Their new spicy fish sandwich was disgusting. Mostly breading and it was to hard to chew, like a brick. They over sauced it, I didn't know you could even do that. Worst experience was the wait time too. If wasn't even rush hour. There were two customers besides me. ?
I appreciate popeyes chicken in comparison to KFC, this Wellington Rd S site is one I have been going to for years.. The store could use more staff to maintain the dining hall and give the workers a much need break. My customer service has been 10/10... but the workers seem exhausted from having to work too hard. You have great staff, please reward them to retain them.
Had this today for the first time with my wife. Fantastic chicken sandwiches. They were crispy, tasty, and the hot sauce was actually slightly hot!Definitely will be back
We ordered here for the first time tonight after a friend recommended it and we were totally disappointed. The chicken and onion rings were dripping grease. The beignets were terrible - cold and greasy and way smaller than the pic in the menu, no powdered sugar, just these little chewy doughy blobs. Check out the pics. The biscuits were good though - brought this up to 2 stars! p.s. The review I entered on UberEats had a mysterious error and didn't get posted. No wonder they have a 4.2 rating...
Rating them on customer service and the dinner crew of March 18th,22 sucked. From the time I walked in, there was no acknowledgment of the growing line behind me. After that the arriving Uber eats drivers were attended ahead of the walk ins. Standing by the one cash and being avoided I moved over nearer the 2nd til the cashier showed back up and took the guy behind me, who then didn't have a clue what he wanted. The other 3 people behind the counter were scurrying about but still no customer service. As I didn't see this getting any better I walked out. Either they were very under staffed or just untrained on the importance of treating customers respectfully.
Taste wise, it’s pretty good as usual. Btw I tried their chicken & sandwiches and found both yummy. The girls over there are pretty quick and doing a great job. 5/5 for both food and services.
