It is a good experience with their lunch deal of the sandwich around 10 centimetres long and a 100 gram small soup with it. You get a decent portion and cost of the sandwich with the soup. I don’t go to downtown London, Ontario often as it is not my “To go to” area. I support local businesses at Covenant Market. The people work hard and they deserve it. I appreciate the food! I love this place so much but the clam chowder is my favourite and I haven’t gotten it in a while. I check every day and haven’t seen it, please bring it back I love it so much!

I use to enjoy stopping here for a great bowl of Turkey Chili, unfortunately today I found out they do not have ground beef in their chilli. Appears to be replaced with liquid/water? Washrooms not available to customers. No napkins in takeout bag. No thank you Piping Kettle Soup Co
Make sure you order through a delivery app. They usually have 1 staff working on actual in store customers. 2-3 staff filling delivery App orders. Not usually best to go in. Great food though. Always fresh and delicious.
Honestly, if you want the best experience when it comes to The Piping Kettle, direct your business to the Huron St. Location. Alwase friendly, professional staff who genuinely care about costumers and the product. Been to many times and never a complaint, went to the Commissioners location once, and regretted it. Didn't even get a spoon... which makes perfect sense, because you know, you sell soup. Also, no crackers, and the soup was room temperature not 20 minutes after getting it. Love the Piping Kettle, but if you don't have the service to match your product, it isn't worth the business. The sandwiches are also very amazing. If you like home made, healthy, hearty soups / stews, you need to try this. Just exercise caution when choosing locations ;)
Great soups for a fair price, I love how they cycle the soups every day and they vary based on location. Their website is pretty great too because you can view the daily soup menu for each location so you know what they have before you go. I haven't personally tried a sandwich or smoothie from them but from what I've seen they're made with fresh ingredients and look pretty good. I don't know a whole lot of soup places around here so this place is unique and worth the visit, especially in colder months.
Hands down you simply cannot go wrong with choosing to pop over the Covent Garden Market and grabbing some lunch at the Piping Kettle Soup Co. If being able to quickly purchase an affordable, hot and delicious meal is not enough, then simply be impressed by the outstanding customer service professionals there. They are polite and patient, especially with new customers with questions about what is offered despite the lunch menu sign????♀️. They were knowledgeable about ingredients in menu items and gave helpful recommendations that lead to the best lunch order being made. Although pleased with the entire experience it was the service delivered by Barbara that left a positive and lasting impression. She was a true customer service professional.
I’ve gone for 2 years supporting this store. I’ll Never go there again, rude Staff swore at me and my 5 year old. Poor babes traumatized! Disgusting service!
