I am very impressed with this restaurant. I've had lunch here several times and each time the food has been delicious and fresh. Everyone I have gotten to try has had a similar experience. Just had the fish & chips today and it was much better than most local fish & chip places. If you get fries, you must get gravy on the side. Really really good.
Awesome food, awesome staff. So friendly, go above and beyond. The Alberta hot beef brisket is so good. Iris was our waitress, so friendly and helpful. The staff was great to joke around with too. Heather was awesome too. Enjoyed the drinks and food. Thanks pickle barrel for a great first experience. We will be back for sure. My new favorite restaurant. ? With dessert to go because the food was so good we are full And I never eat a whole meal. Looking forward to the cheesecake later.
As we walked in the restaurant looked clean and classy. We were greeted immediately with a smile and were seated quickly by the hostess. The waitress was quick to show us the menu and answer our questions about it. We ordered drinks and it came in a timely manner. The service was friendly as we had more questions regarding their menu. We ordered food and it also came in a great timely manner. The food was excellent we enjoyed every bite. The pickles were great as we're the ceasars. The dessert was amazing and was recommended by our waitress.Everything was exceptional.!I will be back for sure and recommend others to try it.I'm hooked.Thank you
Service is exceptional. Came in for an after game meal with some friends on Sunday and our waitress was great. Food was superb as well, the wonton nachos and wings were great starters. Steaks and cheesecake were also a hit!
A generous 2 stars. Only because the staff and service was excellent.Nachos had barely any cheese, 4.99 for chicken there was 2 small pieces.Entrees came out with our appetizer, our waitress realized this was an error, and offered to replace. The food clearly sat under a heat lamp as it came out cold. It was a terrible meal and expensive.I have changed my review, based on the excellent customer experience and care that was taken to follow up. Based on my previous review.The customer experience team seemed generally concerned with our poor meal and offered a gift card. This was a nice gesture and appreciated.
I loved the pickles served while seated, wish they could have brought more! That was great.The food was OK.Had the wonton nacho app then beef brisket sandwich which was no where near the brisket I'm used to. It was just lunch meat, so wouldn't get it again.It was a nice clean place, friendly waitress so i tipped well. Just your average roadhouse style restaurant, but pricey.I was expecting more of a unique experiance with a name like "Pickle Barrel". Example, like a seperate menu where you can order different types and styles of pickles thruought your meal. Something to make it STAND OUT above the rest and not fall into the same hum drum average roadhouse.I wouldn't go out of my way to try it again, but wasn't an awful experience.
We visited on Saturday for the first time. My 2 year old son has many allergies and I was so happy to see that they had fresh fruit as a kids menu dessert option. He always has to skip his dessert at so many restaurants and watch his sister eat hers and for once he was able to enjoy a dessert as well. Thank you for including other options as well. We will definitely me back.
Good food and great service
Went here for my friend's birthday. Was treated amazing! The staff were more than accommodating for everything! Don't order the grilled cheese or nachos! You can make better at home! Grilled cheese is regular bread, nothing fancy and the nachos don't really come with enough meat or cheese.The manager was great with us! Thanks again! Look forward to trying again!
