I may never have to eat again ;-) Absolutely delicious (and, needless to say, very fresh) tostada and three tacos: Lengua, lamb, and cheek. My taco fever has finally abated.Alfonso was a very gracious host. Highly recommended.
Excellent place!We just googled Latin food and this came up first.... Now we know why...Warm service with explanation of what one will be served, delicious food, great and cozy ambiance..... We got:Lengua (beef)Adobo (pork)Arrachera (beef)Borrego (Lamb)Chamarra (pork)All accompanied by delicious natural fresh fruit juices.Very tasty. We recommend it!
The taco was good, he offered me some tasty potatoes and the "appetizer" and they were really good. But I'm disappointed after experiencing the same fraud some of you mentioned below.Edit: Checked the receipt again and he actually charged me for the appetizer that I didn't order but he "offered" (he just brought it without saying anything beforehand). Nice gesture but he should have been upfront about the fact that it was not a free appetizer.Looks like some people also experienced the same thing where he started "adding" more items to the bill pretending they were free. Please be cautious if you are visiting for the first time. Also debit/cash only, that's a big minus for me.
Best place to eat in London. With the most amazing service. Food is delivered so fast and so fresh. They make the most authentic Mexican food you can get without being in Mexico. Took us right back to our honeymoon. The owner is the most genuine human being and makes your experience dining out that much better. You don’t get any better than this for food, price and service! Awesome 5 starts for sure. You have to try this place at least once! What a gem!
I never heard of the place and just wanted to look at the menu but ended up sitting down. When I sat down, a few minutes later the cook had given me a taste tester to see if I wanted to eat there. After eating it I definitely wanted to eat there. While waiting for my order, the owner had shown me around the kitchen and explained how the cook was going to make my meal and also told me some background about the restaurant and his family. Everything was extremely fresh and the service was very fast and everyone was extremely friendly! I love family owned restaurants and especially this one!! I’m definitely going back!:)

We had a fantastic authentic Mexican meal! The owner was lovely, warm and welcoming and kept bringing delicious dishes to our table. Homemade guacamole was my favourite. Definitely recommend for a real, authentic Mexican meal!
You can definitely tell the food is made in house; fresh, and super tasty. The menu is simple, but definitely some options for the adventurous. Prices were reasonable, tacos ranging from $5 to $7, tostadas were $2. They even had Mexican hot chocolate and fresh in-house made juices. The only drawback was they had no Dos Equis or tequila.
Alfonso is a great host! He cares about people and loves to see you smiling when you taste his food! He serves the best authentic Mexican food you can have in Canada! We tried nopales (cactus) tacos, pulled lamb tacos, mango juice and amazing desserts! Everything we had was delicious and full of flavour, and the scent of blue corn tortillas was to die for! Amazing food, amazing service and amazing people!
This place is great. Alfonso is very welcoming when you come in the restaurant and very helpful when it comes to making a choice for what you want to eat. We had the tostadas and the lamb and beef flank tacos. The homemade blue corn tortillas were super delicious and their homemade salsa had some incredible flavour. Will definitely be going back.
