Hi we were at the Moore Ave Show last night watching our buddies play. Fortune Cove and Miss Conduct crushed it. Jillian was our server and she was amazing! Very friendly and polite and always checking in to see how we were doing and coming to find us for more drinks! Thank you for the great service Palasad :) ??
Absolutely amazing time! Our server Eric was incredible and even shook our hands to introduce himself to us! He was extremely nice and even put our food into a takeout container for us :)Another gentleman, didn’t catch his name :(, but I asked for some arcade tickets on a card, and he said the tills were closed down already as it was 20 min till close, but then talked to a manager quick and got my husband and I two play cards with 30 credits all together! :) best time there! Definitely coming back soon! :)
Great service by my server Jolene with awesome Garlic Parmesan Wings! Dining room was very comfortable to sit in with a view of the kitchen and people/car watching along Adelaide street. Lots of parking behind/beside restaurant too! Thanks for the great service and food!
Last reviewed 4 years ago. Have been often during that time. Went tonight, a Tuesday night, nice discount from 4-7 promo they have going currently.Went with my better half and her two daughters. Might have bowled but weren’t prepared as we came from doing some running around. There is a nice setup for bowling and when/if they do live music, the stage is over the alleys. The food was good. We started with the fried cheese balls (good sauce but basically mozzarella sticks in ball form), the ale bacon dip with pretzels and chips (2nd pic). Everyone seemed to enjoy that (I’m vegetarian and the bacon is mixed in so I did not partake) - I did have the pretzels and they were good, very oily though, but good. The youngest had the Mac and cheese croquettes and really liked those.I had the so-cal burger with the beyond meat burger. It was quite delicious, good toppings (just needs some jalapeño/spicy aspect to it) with the side green salad and apple balsamic dressing (1st pic). Good amount, burger a good size - the salad had some deep fried chick peas which were interesting. No flavour without the dressing but different. Our server was amazing! Temeara - thank you so much. Started on the patio but did get chilly with the wind so went inside. Had a lot of questions about the menu and I needed her to go through the beer list twice but she was awesome about it and very helpful. She was also working a group in one of the private rooms, the alleys and the billiards area so she was getting her steps in for us (as we were alone at the pool table side). To the management - Definitely give her a little extra, maybe a day off….?The only slightly negatives I have are the beer list and the arcade game room. They have a few of the local beers (though I’d like to see a Storm Stayed or Curley or Forked River on tap) but the rest are the same old ones (they do have Stella available by pitcher which is not common). Doesn’t need to be Beer Town but a couple different brews would be lovely. Quite a few in cans though so helps a bit. And the prices for the cocktails are a bit high, similar to Jack Astor’s which I find completely overpriced. The games are okay but I prefer the south for that and they have the better prizes for the kids.I’ve been fairly often but they do seem to change the menu every so often so sometimes I lose a dish I liked. That’s a subjective thing though - can’t keep everything and you want to add new things so it’s not always the same and boring. Not easy running a restaurant so go out, enjoy some time with the family, bowl, eat, drink - and try to get in Temeara’s section!
It's a bit hard to review because the experience is determined by the objective. If the reason for visiting is bowling and table tennis Palasad gets 5 ⭐. On the other hand if dining is one of the reasons for visiting then it is 2 ⭐. The food was a little over done and not as flavourful as I would have liked.Great for family activity and group outing.Take away is go for the fun of bowling and table tennis as well as the game arcade but not for the food taste.
I am so impressed with how they took care of us for a birthday party through every step of the process. My initial contact was with Ruth who coordinates events. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. She thoroughly explained all of my group’s options, facilitated some special requests, and simply has one of the best attitude’s of anyone I’ve dealt with in a long time. The evening of the party, we arrived 30 minutes after all the other guests (it was a surprise party). They had sanctioned off our own private area in the back with a current pulled across to prevent the birthday girl from seeing anyone when we arrived. Upon pulling the curtain back, our group was poised and ready to yell “SURPRISE!” amidst a backdrop of beautiful decorations and a great selection of food and drinks.Almost immediately after the initial surprise, our server for the night Nolan came and introduced himself. The Palasad is lucky to have Nolan on their team! He took great care of us the entirety of the evening. We never wanted for anything because of his near preternatural instincts with regard to our needs.Like Ruth, Nolan also had a fantastic and genuine attitude from start to finish. You can tell the difference between people who are putting on a good face, and those who genuinely seek to provide a great experience for those they serve. In this instance it was clearly the latter.Everything was on point through the evening. The food and drinks were fantastic. The entertainment was equally great. The staff are truly exceptional.I’ve enjoyed this venue for years but this was the first time I had booked an event and I can say with certainty that I will absolutely be doing so again!Thank you to the entire team for making a special woman’s birthday extra memorable! Can’t wait to visit again!
I had a wonderful time. Great deal on Wednesday for pizza and wine. It made for a fun and enjoyable date night. We were planning on bowling and pool but it got so busy and we didn't have a a bowling lane or pool table reserved but we will know for next time.
We celebrated a friend’s birthday here and it was such a fun variety of activities for all ages and interests. The best part was Jillian our server going above and beyond with a positive attitude and making sure we were well taken care of for drinks/food. Would make the drive up here to London for this again!!
Actually the coolest bar I have ever been to in my entire life so far. Bowling, games, a full bar, a restaurant, and a big stage for bands. They employ a legitimate sound guy for shows and you can bowl and play games while watching and listening to bands. Its family friendly before 9pm and adults or accompanied minors only after that. A really great idea for a bar. Seriously genius. I'd recommend going early if youd like to bowl, the place is always packed and the line can be 2hrs for a lane.Definitely worth a visit. Only bummer is the place does last call relatively early and it closes at midnight instead of 2am.
I had a fun time here with friends. It was about $18 per person to bowl for an hour (2 games) and we also played in the arcade area($30 for 200 tokens, which was enough & a fun time)and we played pool as well. My friend payed for that so I don’t know the price. I highly recommend coming here, it’s reasonable and made for a memorable night.
