The light battered fish was great. Huge portion of fries as well as the the lemon pie..a wee bit tangy for my liking.

Went for AYCE with my mum. Our server was Jody (Jodi?) and she was just lovely. Friendly attitude, super helpful, and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we had a good time.Mum had the haddock, I had the AYCE whitefish. The batter was golden and crispy without being overly hard or too soft, and gave a satisfying crunch with each bite that was accompanied by a subtle fluffiness. The fish itself was gorgeous, perfectly cooked. Nice and tender with a gentle firmness to it that felt satisfying to chew -- not rubbery and overcooked, and not mushy either.I'm not sure if the tartar sauce was made in the restaurant, but I didn't particularly care. It was tasty beyond belief and had generous chunks of pickle in it.The fries were quite nice! Cooked as they should. They're fries. Good fries. But, ultimately, just fries. There's a reason the phrase is "fish and chips" and not "chips and fish". The fish is the star of the show.My only complaint is that the restaurant itself is a bit drab. It's all grey and honestly doesn't give off the most inviting feeling. And the plates are far too small for the VERY generous portions they give, but that can easily be resolved by asking for an extra side dish.If you're looking for an unpretentious and delicious place to get your fishy fix, I simply can't recommend Olde London enough. $14 for an absolutely massive plate of fish and chips is an insane bargain, especially if you're going for AYCE.

A terrific dining experience! What a great little restaurant! The food was hot, fast and delicious. The restaurant is open and clean with an endless number of happy customers coming and going for both dine in and take out. Everyone was served so quickly. Our waitress, Jodi was awesome! She was very so funny, friendly and informative. The staff kept everything clean and fully stocked. We were very pleased with our dinner but also very impressed with how efficient and organized the dining room is.We will definitely be back and can’t recommend it more highly. Looking forward to our next visit.

Wanted to give a review here after having a disappointing experience at Golden Lake while Olde London was closed. Excellent service, price, and portions. Batter was done as it should be, nice and crisp while not being more fried bits than actual fish. Good choice of drinks too, and a lovely chocolate cream pie. And the atmosphere is cozy, no annoying pop radio music, good decor, clean seats. I hope to come back soon.

Excellent fish and chips. Had the Halibut, it was as good as ever. Their fries are very good as well. Waitress was friendly and efficient she added to the the overall experience. It's my favourite fish and chip restaurant.

Excellent fish, best batter I’ve ever tasted.Prices are reasonable and service is fast and cheerful

The server was very polite. Quality of food was goodz fresh crispy. Washroom, table, overall were clean.ita a small joint, so don't expect anything jazzy or over the top. It's nice and clean, value for money food.

Very generous portions.Got the chicken fingers and chips and 2 piece Alaskan whitefish and chips. Perfect breading and fries were great. My new favorite place for fish and chips!

I had a bit of a sticker shock when we got the bill. I thought the portions would be bigger given the price. We paid $66+ for this meal. We order dinner for 2 (cod), added an extra food, seafood chowder, fried pickles and 2 apple juices.Service was great though.

We travelled from downtown Mossley to dine in the first time since Covid hit in 2020. After Covid hit we would do take out and eat in the truck. Great place to have the best fish and chips in this area. The girls always make you welcome and do a great job on serving. The cooks do a great job to get your meal to you hot. Keep up the good work girls and boys. Ron and Wendy Downtown Mossley
