My wife and I were looking for some authentic Latin American food and we hit the jackpot with Los Comales. Worth the drive from Ingersoll for sure!The Flautas, Gallo Pinto con Maduro Frito and Salvadorian Pupusa were all fantastic! And the Carne Asads was one of the best tasting steaks I have ever had.
Ate here for the first time recently and was blown away at how good the food was. The woman running it is such a Gem. Definitely going to be back many times over!
Food was good not great, and not felt expensive for not very large portions. The restaurant was shabby, and very dirty especially the washrooms. Hand dryer was disgusting.Made you feel like you were in Mexico, and not in a good way
We ordered a large meal for mothers day, and on the day of my mother I ordered a fajita with corn wraps and they forgot the wraps. How do you forget the main part of a wrap...? Along with that the containers which we ordered were large, I had high expectations, but they barely had any food inside. The side salad had about 7 pieces of lettuce. We also ordered 4 vegetarian enchiladas in which we were given 1 total. So there were multiple things wrong with the order and there wasn't much of the food that they gave us. And on top of that, we showed up 5 minutes early, had to wait for the food, which is fine, but when we started to eat it 15 minutes later it was all cold. My girlfriend enjoyed the empanadas but that was the only positive. And the coleslaw, which comes in dime bags... Was super spicy. Last thing out of our order I'd expect to be spicy. And why are they served in dime bags??? Overall a solid 1 1/2 and would not recommend. You have lost a customer, and lost a follow on Facebook by my girlfriend.
Ordered the combo 4 for 4 and the birria tacos. It was 10/10 flavor wise and easily fed 2 adults and two kids with appitites.. I think it could use a little more heat but that's just personal preference. Beats the hell out of any chain restaurant!
I was really sceptical on ordering from here because I saw mixed reviews and the prices are quite high. I decided to give it a go anyway and I’m quite disappointed. I got the beef birria tacos. They hardly put any beef on my tacos, forgot the rest of the toppings (cheese, cilantro, etc), and the tortillas didn’t have any of the sauce on them like they were supposed to. They were just normal white tortillas and they were undercooked and soggy (but no sauce?) the sauce that came in the container for dip was very good, it was the only good part. The tacos didn’t look like how beef birria is supposed to look at all, very disappointing, poor quality, and not worth the price.
Was my first time ordering from here and definitely will not be my last! They offer lots of vegetarian options which initially drew me to this restaurant. My order was ready to go when I got there to pick it up! I ordered the jalapeño cheddar soup and the tostadas with eggplant. Both were delicious and tasted very authentic! Prices were reasonable and the service was great! Will definitely be recommending this place to others!
We ordered here for the first time last night, it’s now our go-to for authentic Latin eats! Absolutely everything was delicious and very reasonably priced.We HIGHLY recommend the mole enchiladas. We were so in love with our dinner I forget to get a picture of them!And those pupusas. AMAZING. The combo for two is a perfect way to try a bit of almost everything.
The very best, authentic Mexican in London or surroundings. Their 8n house salsa us the best I've ever had. Staff and owner are supper friendly, and bring a warm atmoshere to this place. I just wish I lived closer ...!!!
