We went to see Road Waves and legend, David Wilcox last night. The place was packed! London Music Hall was great. They handled everything very well. The bartenders were amazing even though it's hard for them to hear. Was a great time all around and we will be back!Thank you London Music Hall!!!!
Watched a thread on fb how the promoter will refuse bands just because of their political views. He was calling them racists and all sorts of unprofessional banter. We should allow artists to express themselves freely and mandates are being lifted, so why is this venue blacklisting bands?
This is the first indoor venue I went to as a university student fresh out of a home town that had 0 live music venues besides a bar with a small stage. Since then, I've seen shows here a few times a year (minus covid lockdowns) with the most recent being July Talk and Casper Skulls. I'm always blown away by the energy and the fact that the place is small enough that even when full, you can usually see the stage and the artist well. The bar is cash only last I checked and the ATM fee is a bit high, but I've had worse at big venues in Toronto and I kind of expect that at this point. The true star of the show is the A&W takeout window in the back that sometimes serves food during shows. I don't know what genius came up with that idea but yes, I would in fact like to eat some fries while the bands swap.
Easy to get a beer (maybe because they charge a lot for a pint, $11.95?), but seats are few and far between. Their musicians are oftentimes local, so you gotta love 'em. A lot of good vibes in the building, don't know if it's haunted.
It's really the right size venue for London. They host really great acts. In the time of covid, there is assigned balcony seating available if you'd like.
Saw Big Wreck on Friday and it was great! The venue was fantastic and we were lucky enough to get stools. It was a comfortable experience overall but some people got too close.
Great venue. As a concert junkie I don't know how I have never been to this place before. The sound was incredible. Small venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Reasonable drinks. A large beer was 11 bucks. Clean washrooms. A must go for sure.
Great atmosphere!Very well organized entry especially with covid protocols and checking vax status.Security quickly and safely handled a "scuffle" between some well "lubricated" patrons.Bathrooms were clean, the lines for the bar, coat check and merch were expertly staffed and as far as I could tell, A good time was had by all!

Went to see Big Wreck last night. The place was ridiculously packed. Realized on the way home that my phone was missing. Came back to the venue as they were cleaning up, and the whole staff came together to help me find it. Perfect ending to a great night!! Thanks for going waaay above and beyond for me :)
