The food is decent, standard nice pub fare. The big plus about this place is the view of the planes in the background. Incredibly unique!

Excellent food and a great dine-in experience! It is located just across from the main runway at London International Airport. The menu is always very exciting with great dishes to choose from, combined with the overall runway side experience Katana is a must-try if you haven't been!
Very good food, especially the breakfast. I recommend the skillet: layeres shredded potatoes, sausage, peppers, onions with cheese and eggs!Wait get toast for one reason...to try the jam....it comes in a bowl with a spoon. ( not the gel blob from the tiny square packages) Real jam! And it is fruity goodness.Now, large groups stress this place out, its still worth the wait. Staff are friendly and accommodating.Loads of parking tooThe coolest part? The large windows or outdoor patio is a view of airport runway with planes and helicopters landing and taking off.

Great and really delicious food. They answer menu adjustment questions on order right the way. Following with nice action to accommodate any special Customer wishes. Flexible chef adds sweet Mickey Mouse pancakes on breakfast, if he recognizes cute little ones around. If you ask for appetizer as main, no issue. If you ask for meat or additional protein on breakfast (salmon or else) no problem, usually.Only sad thing is, that the oil painting airplane at the entrance wall is gone and suddenly this is all black coated. Weird…
We hadn't been to Katana for several years after moving out of the area. Went for a long overdue dinner out and were not disappointed. Our sever was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was as lovely as we remembered. Portion sizes were excellent, and food was hot, fresh and delicious. The only criticism was that the chef seemed a little heavy handed with the salt, but otherwise everything was wonderful. We will be back soon!
A Gem on the outskirts of town! We called ahead as they would be closing in an hour and they welcomed us with open arms. We were the only ones in the restaurant. The food came out quickly... Hot... And super tasty! The salmon was sweet and the steak was superb. The roasted veggies were so flavourful. Don't even talk about the Sticky Toffee Pudding! We fought for the last bite!Super great place to watch the planes come and go. Can't wait to come back to enjoy the flights on the patio when the weather gets warmer. Thank you to the employees, Ken & Cameron - You made our visit memorable. ✈️
