Food is good here but expensive for what you get Great service but not real turkey in my club house sandwich, and only half a sandwich. For $ 21.75 I expected real turkey not deli meat. And a whole sandwich not half! If your going to charge that price give people value in one way.
In my life of being a Canadian citizen for over 30 years and having had countless dining experiences everywhere locally and globally, I have never experienced right out racism in a restaurant where the waitress/waitor would not have any eye contact, did not say hi, did not ask what we want to drink or eat, she just stood there with her pen and paper looking down, not one single word, just waited for us to speak - and clearly, we spoke English that she understood and was able to bring us our food; she never bothered popping by to see ask how our food was or ask if we needed anything else, or ask if we are ready to pay. When she was talking and helping the table next to us paying their bill, she quickly glanced at our table to see that we were almost done our food and while we started to put our coats on, she actually just plopped the machine down without saying one single word and just walked away - did not say a word about the bill, or asked how we wanted to pay. She just turned her back right away and left. We were all shocked, including my young daughter. It was humiliating to say the least. Even at the worst restaurant, the basic manners would be there. We were hoping to give her the benefit of the doubt, thinking it’s a busy day and she doesn’t have time to interact but this waitress was talking with every other customers and tables around us. We are Chinese and all the other customers around us were not but we were all going to the Disney on ice event that day, kids were all dressed up and happy and we wanted to just have a decent lunch before the show. How do you tell a young child when she asked ‘why didn’t she talk to us when she was telling the others to enjoy their shows? Why didn’t she wave back when I waved at her?’ Never would we imagine that in 2022, this can still happen, and to this extent. To be fair, the food was reasonable, but who would know as she never bothered to ask. This is so far out from any typical complaints like music is too loud, food is not cooked properly etc, this is a clear case of rare discrimination against us being minorities and specifically from this one waitress. The greeter at the door however, was very kind and friendly.

The smallest wings I’ve ever purchased from any restaurant that I’ve been to. They give you 12 but they are equivalent to 5 normal sized wings. You’d need to eat 40 of these to feel satisfied. The price they charge is even worse. Service was decent enough and the beer cold. Would only go back for drinks.
Excellent service. They refilled my water without me having to ask, my food arrived hot and fresh. The chicken strips were cooked just right, chicken was tender, the coating was perfectly crispy, and the fries were so filling! Nice presentation of the plate too. I will definitely be back! Thankyou

Best mushrooms caps in town. Perhaps the country. Club house is top notch and thick cut fries are crazy good. Fantastic experience overall.

I was at my parents apartment downtown, tonight. We decided to go out for dinner and came across J-Dee Market grill, arriving at 5:58, as they were supposed close at 6 on. The host graciously invited us in. We had a wonderful meal, we’re not rushed, and both the service and cooks were excellent.
