Second time coming to Hunter & Co. and can’t say enough good things about this place! My boyfriend surprised me by taking me here for my birthday and we had a lovely time. Service and food are equally amazing! Every single dish and drink we ordered was delicious and our waitress was so sweet and helpful with recommendations. Even got free drinks and dessert on the house for my birthday! Can’t wait to come back!
Food was very good. Cocktails were great. There's an issue with ambience however - it's hit or miss. Sometimes it's low light and good music and other times the lights are up and no music playing. I felt like I was at a brunch place , after 6pm! I'll be back because i like the tapas /sharing style and its quality but if I walk in and it's lights on and no music I may be persuaded to try something else that moment. Thanks!
Tonight for Mother’s Day we had Brynn and Chris. Everyone else whom I didn’t catch the name of treated us equally as phenomenally.I can’t believe how every time I come here it’s such a stand out, special experience for me.Words can’t express how much everything they do means… so I’ll just start by saying I’m not a crier but I cried three times tonight.Silly but true.They listen, they hear, they see, they pay attention, and they make you feel like you’re the only one in the restaurant. How lucky that every time I’ve been here I’ve felt like this… but is it luck??It’s probably that it’s just how they make people feel.Go there. Feel this. You won’t be disappointed.
Overall the experience was good service was spot on the ambience was very comforting. The food is definitely the star with the shareable dishes not too big and priced very well for the portions. The only disappointment was the cocktails in particular the old fashioned since it’s a feature drink it must be made properly which it was not disappointed considering is $20 for 1 drink! What was confusing was the drink is a smoked glass, but was presented with lacklustre by not taking advantage of the theatre this complex drink provides…
We’ve been enjoying the food, drinks and vibe at Hunter & Co. for a few years now; we booked a date night for March 12 as we hadn’t been in over a year. We showed up early but were welcomed, seated and served within minutes by the best group of people! We’d like to send a huuuge thank you to Shannon, Allie and Jake in front-of-house, as well as awesome bartender Chris and chef Tony for an absolutely drool-worthy evening! We had oysters (shucked by Allie), grilled octopus and roasted bone marrow (?) and probably more cocktails than we should have (check out the French 75!). I hope I got all your names right, but we will be returning customers probably forever so we’ll have plenty of time to sort that out ?. Thanks again for an awesome night!
oh man! my wife and i have been going there for years. it is our favourite restaurant in town. have never had a bad experience. its always been an amazing time. absolutely love the place. the food, wait staff, atmosphere, drinks everything about this place is top notch.They have the best cocktails in town to boot! they will even make you a drink that isn't on the menu. one time we asked why a certain food item was taken off the menu because it was SSSOOO GOOD. and the waitress said "hold on, I bet the chef will still make it for you" and he did!!ya i can't say enough good thing about Hunter & co. will never stop going.
This is one of the very best restaurants we have been to in a long time! The food was incredible, great atmosphere & service. 10/10
One of my favourite restaurants in London! Great food, great atmosphere & staff, and definitely recommend the chicken liver brûlée, oysters, and bone marrow!
Amazing service, great ambiance, cocktails were awesome. Food was really good (especially the chicken liver brulee and the chocolate bar). Only one dish I ordered missed the mark. Cannot stress how great the service was, if it was possible to give between 4 and 5 stars I would rate this a 4.8.
If you haven't been here - don't walk, run! Last night was our first Hunter & Co. experience, and there will definitely be more visits! Making a reservation with Aaron was completely casual and actually really funny - he made a real effort to accommodate what I was asking for! When we arrived we were greeted by a warm, lovely hostess(I didn't catch her name!), we then had the pleasure of being served mostly by Ali but the whole server/bartender team really took care of us for our whole stay. We loved everything about the evening; the food, the staff, and the cocktails. Thanks Hunter & Co. - See you again soon!
