Stayed one night in May 2022 in a king suite.Rooms are very outdated, but very clean with comfortable bed. Some of the concerns I had:- air con / heater is in the bedroom, but the thermostat is in the other main room. So the air con / heater is on but the change in temperature doesn't register on the thermostat resulting in very uneven temperature in the suite.- no microwave.- coffee cups are unwrapped- limited tv channels- fairly slow internet at night, was ok in the morning- no USB charging ports on the room- missing painting on wall- closet door removed, but floor rail and holes remain.
I stayed at this hotel in November 2021 for one night. I gave my credit card even though it was being paid by my company. I have never stayed there again, however my credit card has been charged 8 times in March and April for various amounts. I called in April and spoke to Front Desk person. They told me that the initial charge would be reversed and my card would be removed. Since then I have had 7 more charges.Obviously something is going on at this hotel. Check your statements carefully. Following up with my credit card company.Be very careful.
I took our kids for March break and we had a great time. The pool was a huge hit, along with the fitness room.The restaurant had a good menu and hotel parking was very convenient.Richard at the front desk was excellent! He was very efficient, friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!!
Reasonably priced. Close to restaurants and shopping. Convenient parking. Room was moderately clean. Everything was middle of the road. Not great but not horrible. Probably won’t return.
Great penthouse unit, and the rate per night is extremely reasonable ? the loft style feels very ritzy, high class, makes you forger it's still only London, ON ?. Thermostat (ideally) should be located on upper level, it was a bit tricky getting a comfortable temp in bedroom area, although the system was very responsive to changes as it warmed up and cooled down super quickly.Overall, AMAZING deal for a spectacular room, I will definitely recommend to friends and return myself!
We showed up to check in on our wedding night and they didn't have a room for us. Despite signing the contract, us meeting the required number of rented rooms, AND us following up weeks in advance with them TO CONFIRM they had that room set aside, we walked in and were told they had nothing.Apparently in that situation the front desk staff should have offered us a room in a different hotel, even a competitor. They did nothing. They made one phone call to supposedly a manager, who also did nothing. We drove to our home and unpacked our suitcases. Lovely.After that unbelievable mess they did not reach out (we had to reach out to them a couple days later) and they offered us 200,000 points. I doubt you could get even a honeymoon suite for a night for that price, and that's the bare minimum we are owed under the contract. Their corporate office will not get involved in issues with room rentals whatsoever. What an unbelievable insult after we had to deal with that ON OUR WEDDING NIGHT.
Very unhelpful concierge, they knew we needed late check out when we called the night before leaving and told u’s we need to call back the morning of due to its policy. Why?!? Don’t know…We called back in the morning at 7am and was told now they couldn’t do more then 5 late check out and i was the 7th caller?!?! Im in a competition for this?! Why weren’t we told this when we called a night before?!? The staffs didn’t have any care for their customers. We are extremely umimpressed with Holiday Inn in London neither with lack of services and the room we had. Our room had toilet that barely flush, stained hotel blanket and a heater that was extremely loud. Neve to stay again in Holiday Inn if we could help it.
Worst stay I have ever experienced! Called down to front desk twice with no help. Twenty adults partying in the hall with children playing hockey! And this is at 1 in the morning. I get the answer that there are too many people to stay in their room and party! Are you kidding me??? Why would this even be allowed. My family is attending a wedding and we are paying for three rooms! I have taken a video and plan to take it higher than this. Just ridiculous!!
Check in was slow. Kids running around the hotel without supervision. Knocking on doors. Holding up elevators. Room was dated. AC not working in bedroom of the king suite. Tub wouldn’t hold water. Took literally 2 minutes to start getting warm water. 2 towels for a suite, blah. Called down for more towels “please come down and get them, I’m the only one here” (for a sold out hotel only one person on duty? I’m sorry but this was not typical of Holiday Inn. This one, makes the brand look rough.
Very good place to stay in London right near restaurants and parks and the staff is above and beyond absolute ?
