Very friendly staff, had a nice meal!!
Good food and very reasonable price. We took one whole chicken bbq (family package). In comes with one whole chicken bbq, large rice, few stuffed pitas, pickles and three drinks. We took one fish and chips as well.
Humanity restored tonight. Went to order shawarmas for Karter and I. I thought they were open until 10 but it was actually only 9. The owner apologized and then showed me the new Shisha patio they just built that opens tomorrow. I congratulated him as it looks awesome. As I walked out the server offered me a menu, I told her I'm a regular and loved the food here. A minute later the son handed me a to go container... I said what's this... He said it's for you. I said nono it's ok that's your dinner but thank you. Then the owner said it was his son I could tell he was so proud of his son so I accepted the meal. I thanked him for his kindness. This place has been nothing but kind to us (they also give me raw bones for my dogs for free) I want to show my appreciation in return by sharing this story. Please go check them out. You can dine in or out and they also have a halal butcher shop right inside. My heart and belly are full tonight ❤️ Ps this meal is freaking delicious ? We appreciate your kindness and for always providing us with delicious food. We appreciate you
We stumble upon this restaurant by luck as we were looking for Paramount, but it appears the business has a different name "Ghadir Restaurant" .What can I say!! The best food and service I have had in a very long time. The gentleman at the front counter along with the wait staff were very helpful and considerate. We ordered the full grilled chicken, rice, hummus and special made cheese manakeesh for the children. Food was absolutely delicious - 10/10!Family oriented and plenty of space to host a large group of people. We left with fresh baked goods from the bakery, baklava and cookies. I will definitely be coming back as we're about an hour away, but it is truly worth the drive! Thank you for the wonderful service and experience!
I really liked the concept of this restaurant because it’s a market and a restaurant. They have some nice selection of middle eastern grocery items, halal gummies, tea, coffee etc , a butcher shop and on the other side they have a restaurant. The food was average, we went when it was busy, so the service was slow and a bit haphazard. The ambience is great and the decor is very authentic middle eastern. So that makes for great pictures. Their manakeesh are good and their Salmon is also quite nice.
Highly recommend this place. We were surprised to see Ghadir Restaurant during our visit to London, as we have been to the Scarborough location several times. We ordered the Chicken Shawarma double platter with fries. We also ordered the Zaatar and cheese manakeesh. The food was reasonably priced and tasted delicious.
The lahme b ajeen and mashewi were very good. Tabouli had a lots of lemon in it and not done with Italian parsely. The salad or fattoush with the mashawe was nice. I did not try the fish my friend did and said it was good. I do recommend this restaurent.
Kind staff and large spacious restaurant. We've ordered the Mix BBQ plater (12 skewers), but we received only 10!! the beef was okay, but the rest has to much spices on it, the kebab/sujuk was tough and dry. Even the bread had too much spices on it. Too much spices that you could know what meat it is :(...Side dishes were good.
very good grocery, bakery and butcher, but the cooked restaurant food is just okay.Restaurant: 2/5Grocery: 4.5/5- wide selection of import goods and spices- clean, sanitary butcher, dining area, and store- good selection of baked goods, including manakeesh and sweet treats- staff are pleasant- bright, well-designed space and decorordered a chicken shawarma wrap combo (w fries + drink)- markook (extra charge) was very tough and dry- chicken was dried out and fairly bland, but originally was well cooked and not too greasy- good selection of fresh toppings- very generous portion of friesoverall, the restaurant seems a little hit-or-miss.
This is the most delicious shawarma in the entire city now. I was so happy to see that Ghadir has opened in London as I was in love with it way back when I lived in Scarborough. It was always legendary and the fact that they opened here is a game changer for Middle Eastern cuisine in London.Let me tell you…that thick high quality chicken shawarma with generous reasonable portions and for an amazing price is unmatched anywhere. The shawarma is succulent and full of chicken! They don’t skimp on anything. This is the closest true authentic shawarma I’ve ever had in all Canada that came close to the one in the Middle East.If you’re thinking about it, trust me, try it! You will not be disappointed. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and clean. The staff are so friendly! They have a nice section full of Middle Eastern groceries and gadgets from hookahs to traditional coffee pots.I love this place! Please do try it for yourself.
