My husband and I went for the first time last night and we were absolutely blown away!! The food was insanely tasty (we had the black garlic fettucine, lobster spaghetti, mussels and the garlic bisque with a slice of cheesecake for dessert) but the most impressive thing was the service. Jess was SO attentive, super friendly and polite and she made the experience one we will not forget!! We will 1000% be back.

No parking on site but there is plenty of parking in and around the restaurant. We found free parking on Dufferin Street on a Saturday and it was a short walk.We had a reservation for a table and I would recommend you do the same to make sure you can have a table. The wait staff was very friendly and on the ball. We had our food in a good amount of time, didn't feel like we were waiting long but also not rushed in-between courses. The food was very tasty and good sized portions to make you full without feeling stuffed. The food tasted very fresh and healthy.Great meal and highly recommend. At our time of going the main sign out front was not up so the location was a bit difficult for one of our dinner parties to find the exact spot by driving by.

The food was delicious! And Diana, our server, was so kind! But the portions were small. Still good!

My partner and I reserved a table at Garlic's to celebrate a very special occasion. The service at the door was fine, our waiter was knowledgeable and was very helpful, and a few other staff were kind throughout our time.My partner and I ordered:1. The Artisan Board $282. Duck Duo (shared) $38 + $2 extra to split the entree3. Apple Crumble $134. Rosadis Pinot Grigio $505. EspressoOur total, with a 20% tip, came to $183.74Around midnight my partner became extremely sick which carried into the day after. Everything experienced was along the lines of food poisoning. This happens, we understand, but we figured we'd call the restaurant to let them know and see if anything could be done to remedy the situation.I received a call from one of chef's who immediately went on the offensive, suggesting how odd it was that my partner got sick and I did not. Wasn't the greatest conversation starter. After being put on hold a few times, I was presented with a $25.00 gift card to "come back for a better experience."I declined. Unfortunately, after spending almost $200.00, that was not going to cut it. I could tell the chef was fairly disinterested in my story, so I cut my losses and let things go. There was no sense in going along with this treatment. The attitude that was given was something along the lines of "we don't exactly care, we fill the place regardless."That's fine. We just won't be back or recommend this establishment to anyone. All we can do, really.Happy eating!

By far the best restaurant in London, and one of the best I have had. I came here two times and both times has impressed by there high quality of food. I'm vegan and I was amazed that there were so many vegan options here. I would totally recommend vegans and other people to dine in this restaurant. All in all, great and delcious place to have diner.

Went for a birthday and unfortunately was disappointed with the service. Food was good but the poor service ruined it for us. For a place charging these prices, I did not expect to have to ask for water to be refilled while waiting well over an hour for an entree. The staff acknowledge the long wait with two dessert trays to be split amongst ten people. Seeing as how that same gesture was extended to other tables, I assume that either that’s already customary for birthdays or they had bad service too. We were also surprised to find out we were expected to pay an extra 18% because we were a large party. That would be fine if the service was acceptable but it was not. When I questioned it I received push back from the manager until they eventually waived the 18% charge. The issue was not tipping, as we all gave tips. I would’ve just been happy if the manager offered to take the birthday girls drink off the bill. Nothing else was offered as an alternative.

Went here for my parents birthday dinner as their birthdays are 3 days apart. Went with both my parents, my fiancé, and both his parents. 3/6 of us order the beef tenderloin, NONE which were cooked to our liking. Service was average - nothing amazing. Our food an dessert took a long time...for a $500 bill I was very disappointed. Probably would never go again.

Exceeded any expectations! The aroma of garlic when you walk in is to die for… Such excellent service, menu, food and atmosphere. We did not have reservations, but would recommend making reservations, it was a very busy spot. Beware also, you may smell like you’re trying to ward off vampires by the end of your meal, but it’s absolutely worth it! Would recommend the slow roasted garlic bulb to start with. We had the feature marinated iron flank with crab mac and cheese and it was dynamite. Good luck narrowing down your meal choice, it all sounded and looked amazing. They make everything themselves so can accommodate your dietary needs. Can’t wait to return for another excellent dining experience!

I’ve been here a whole lot, and I’ve yet to have anything less than excellent. The slow roasted garlic bulb is the perfect way to start your meal - sweet and softened to the point of being spreadable, paired with crostini and seasonal compote. You can also spring for the charcuterie board if you’ve got a larger group for a smorgasbord of flavours. The bulb is just to soften you up - the knockout punch is their handmade pasta. The black garlic fettuccine is my go-to, but the lobster spaghetti is right up there in taste. The noodles alone would be a fine dish, but their sauces and ingredients in concert are truly wonderful. Trying the garlic ice cream is a necessity upon first visit (and if you’re like me, every time thereafter).

The night started out stressful. We were late for our reso because we had to clean up a mess our child made just before we left. So we called (at about 8:15 on a Sunday) and were told the kitchen closes at 8:30, if we can get there quickly. The server talked to the kitchen and told us we were good for everything but entrees (which we were ok with). Then when we got there, I had forgotten my vaccine passport. The server allowed me the time to download it and was so very understanding of our situation. That was the start of an absolutely amazing experience. Our server (Charlie I believe) was amazing from the on-set. I have no words to describe how absolutely fantastic EVERYONE and everything was! We were there as a birthday surprise for my partner and they made what started as stressful, an absolutely fantastic evening. They didn't rush us at all and everything was amazing. Thank you so much for an amazing experience!! We will definitely be back!!
