Have been going to dawghouse for over 12 years mostly for the wings with co-workers and friends. But when the owners sold the place I've noticed a change in the food quality. The Caesar salad has lost 30% of the bacon bits it use to come with and the wings have been cold the last 3 times iver went there. Just that has ruined the experience for me and my friends now
If you're looking for some great pub food, at a decent price, look no further. You won't be disappointed. I had the Rib and Wing combo ($16.99), and my friend had the single nachos ($10.99), both plates had enough food on them for two people, you definitely get your money's worth. The ribs were fantastic, cooked perfectly! And the service was fantastic, and quite fast.Thank you for a great lunch Dawg!
I can't believe I didn't know about this amazing restaurant. Call it a pub, call it a bar, call it what you want! I went with my best friend, my son and his gf, and a lady I will just call a long lost family member. We wanted to give this place a try because the restaurant we had a birthday get together at was an epic fail the night before. Went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and WOW WOW is all I can say! Amazing food, Kick A$$ service.....friendly environment. Can't wait to go again!!! Geez, loved it so much my family is still talking about it the next day. I was almost afraid to leave a review because we don't want EVERYONE to find out what an amazing place this is and then we won't even get a seat next time. Geez whoever owns this amazing place.......please please don't change a thing!!! You guys are amazing and your food is rocking incredible. I am insane PICKY and I will be back time and time again! Thank you thank you for giving this St. Thomas resident a new place to enjoy time away with my family and friends. Lost of parking and your staff is top notch! What a rare find anymore!!!
Very nice place. Good people, good music. And very very good food. Love the burgers. I have always walking by this place never actully enter. Wish I have known how good this place is.
We used to really enjoy Dawghouse. The food and service was always so fantastic.Unfortunately since the owners have changed, our experience hasn't been so positive. None of the staff we were used to seeing are here anymore. The staff used to outgoing and energetic. The staff now don't seem too happy in their positions.The burger I got the last two times was way overcooked, very dry and almost burnt.We used to get our food very quickly and the last 2 visits we've waited 45+ mins for our food.
Great service and the waitresses and bartenders were so friendly. Food was amazing
I don’t want to trash this restaurant because the food and value are good and the service was nice, however I think management needs to reevaluate their style. I was there celebrating with a group and a guest didn’t receive her meal because the server forgot to ring it in. Okay, that was clearly a mistake but the meal didn’t come out for another 15 minutes when everyone else at the table had already finished their meal so she was left to take her food to go. I have worked in the restaurant industry for over a decade and assist in managing a busy restaurant part time now. Mistakes happen and that’s okay, but it’s how the mistake is rectified is what is important. I expected a manager to at least come to by to apologize and at the very LEAST discount her entree. None of this happened and the bill arrived with the full total including the 15 minute late entree. I then approached the server away from the table and asked if she could reevaluate charging for the one entree as our guest never got a chance to eat with us. She explained she would ask management, apparently all management said they would allow is to take off one drink from the bill. This was a party of 6 with apps, drinks and entrees. As someone who manages many servers during a shift I understand that servers make mistakes. How the situation is rectified is key and management should probably consider being a little more hands on because I don’t believe this is how you treat guests when a mistake was made on their end.
For my first time here I met a friend for wing night. It was a packed house which means you know it's going to be good. The service and drinks were great and the wings were pretty good. Cant complain for the price! I definitely plan to go back sometime to taste more of the menu.
Use to visit often before the Pandemic and before the new owners took over. Visited last night and still nothing but impressed. The food was great, the staff was awesome and so friendly and accommodating. Hard to tell there has been a change. Keep doing what your doing Dawgs...we will keep coming back!
The food is a fantastic take on pub grub. So many items to choose from but my goto is the chicken ceasar wrap with homemade potato chips and if you want a great bowl of soup, this is the place.
