Good place for traditional German food. The goulash is very tasty! We had a pleasant experience eating outside on the patio.
Always has been a staple for comfort food! Great service and amazing food.
After a rocky start…our waitress came by, said she’d come back and didn’t, but another finally took over and all was fine. Went before a concert and the restaurant was packed. Food came out in a timely fashion nice and hot. Appetizers were excellent as was the meal. We would all return. Everything seemed to be homemade. Crab cakes were awesome!
Has a traditional pub aesthetic. The patio is a nice touch, too.
The food was great but we ordered a meal to split as we had ordered apps and soup and thought it would be too much food after seeing the size of the meals coming out. We ordered the schnitzel and spatzle with saurkraut. The meal came out very small... they had divided it up for us and we both looked at each other and shook our heads as we generally love coming here and it is always good but we felt a little jaded after this. We are pretty reasonable and came a long distance to have dinner here. We didn't say anything as once this happened we both knew we would not be coming back again for a very long time due to the distance and this situation. Other than that, I guess I would say not to order a meal to split. They add a charge of approx $2 to your meal if you split it as well. We were disappointed as it was very obvious to us that our plate size was tiny.
Saturday night…5 pm…prior to a concert…maybe, e cause of the pandemic, they haven’t been used to larger crowds at the dinner hour, but the food was not hot, sad not a suitable amount…the room/ glassed in “ shed” that we were in was crowded…for a room that held at least 30 people, had ONE server, and she was flustered…with good reason. Being of Eastern European descent, we expected much more. Would not suggest or return.
Excellent schnitzel and fantastic strudel!!!!!!!
great food and service
My wife and I had dinner there on a Friday night. Very spacious dining room in Marienbad side of the business. The waitress was very polite and service was well done. We both ate off the "Londonlicious" menu where you get to order a 3 course meal. My wife ordered the sole fish and I ordered the schnitzel. Both where excellent and served with a nice mixture of vegetables and nice diced potatoes. The desert was strudel with icecream and whipped cream. The meal was a solid 5 out of 5. One of the nicest dinner out we have had in many years. It is hard to find fault with this dinning experience but we talked afterwards and would like to suggest a couple small points. The lights(bulbs) need to replaced with softer lighting, maybe on a dimmer as well. Small(tea) candles on tables for romance. Ceasars salad needs a little more garlic to produce a more "ceasars taste". The apple strudel might be heated ever so slightly. I know these points sound trivial but we liked this restaurant so much we would like to make this our " go to place". These couple of suggestions are meant to attract more clients like ourselves that enjoy going out for dinner on regular bases to the same restaurant. Thank you for providing a great experience.
Wonderful experience. My daughter's birthday. Made to feel so welcome. Class act. Great food! We will be back!!
