first time I ever tried doubles here, I would never order the roti here again, if you are craving roti go to tnt tabanca I brought my trini boyfriend here and he hated all of it. They microwave your food who knows how long it sits there doesnt taste fresh at all dont let it take your money the two cashiers give attitude if you take to long ordering
Food had no taste, give me cook planting instead of fried.Didn't give u know cutlery our napkins.Never eatin here again .Caribbean food that tasted like a white person cooked it.I order the ackie and salt fishInsult to the Caribbean.
Hands down, the best doubles I have found outside of Trinidad!. Amazing. Friendly owner who knows how to add flavour! Also had curry chicken , red beans, rice and plantains....all wonderfully seasoned and yummy!

Big portions, and I mean big. They aren't stush about their oxtail or their oxtail gravy. You don't have to beg them for more because they give you a lot to begin with. Food is delicious, coleslaw is creamy and tasty. Plantain is nice and sweet and it's not like 5 little pieces, they give you enough to enjoy. The pholourie wasn't the best but it could just be the style, I know it tends to vary a bit in taste/flavour depending on the region the chef or owner is from. But if you want some Caribbean food and you're struggling to find somewhere, try this place. Chances are you'll enjoy it and you'll be back. :) I will.
Found that sharp piece of Plastic in my ox’s tail and the owner is very rude and won’t do anything about it
I bought medium jerk chicken ? and let’s just say it tasted like regular bbq chicken. I was beyond disappointed as I eat. It was not authentic at all, no trace of jerk sauce on sight. I wasted $14 on a meal I could have made at home ??♀️ worst Caribbean spot in town.
Ordered a couple of Doubles with pepper and none pepper. I’m a Trini so was excited to order but ended up disappointed:( the doubles were not wrapped like a double supposed to look looked more like a subway wrap. Know for me when I eat food I finish the plate but after a couple of bites I ended up throwing the food away which is not like me. May have to find another Trinidad spot even if I have to drive 2 hours for good Trini food. Shame I ordered a few to make sure this is the one if this turned out good I was looking to make more orders including a big order for Family visit which would of been over $200 for next week
Ordered large jerk chicken rice and peas with a patty. My patty was like soaking wet almost lol. That’s not the worst part, I was given probably 3 day old chicken that was nuked in the microwave . I opened the container with excitement only to smell what is basically what 3 day old chicken smells like. Flavour almost made me puke , there was no jerk taste at all and the skin was soft and mushy . Disappointed cause the last couple times I ordered it was okay and not like This. Maybe Easter Sunday is an excuse for this … anyway defo the last time
This place hit the spot! Had the oxtail combo, even the rice and salad were very tasty. Tried some patties too, a really good cheaper option. Friendly and patient staff as well, will be back 100%!
