I’m only giving this 3 stars because when I went to pick up the cake at my specified time it wasn’t ready as I could see them rushing to put the writing on which was not done well and I did not want or ask for a smiley face on the cake even if the sentiment was there. We got our wedding cake from here which is why I came back and honestly the cake did taste fantastic but the small details matter as well. Thank you for the cake, delicious but I recommend not rushing the writing next time as it was very disappointing to open the party.
Best place to stop by to pick up a treat (or two, or three, or a couple dozen) to take home for the family. Oh who am I kidding, I don't share those custard horns well! Everything's always fresh and tasty, and the service is always spot on.
Before the pandemic, this was our go to place for breakfast on Sundays. Hoping to start again someday soon.Customer service in all aspects is very prompt, personable and helpful. Always answer questions quickly and find what we need. Highly recommended.
I have been there in 2003-2006. I remember great pasta station that they make it with ingredients we chose and the style we wanted. They were delicious. They also had all kinds of European goodies, deli products. It was bit of Europe in Canada. Their Kringle was the best I have ever tasted. I remember taking it to my clinical supervisor and he finished the whole during our one on one supervision. And it was for at least six people.
Horrible experience, I was refused to be served at cashier because I wasn't wearing mask (I have medical exemption). I purchased food at that place few weeks before and everything was well. Manager told me that I can find products that I wanted to purchase on-line on their website, but there is no such products on Angelo's website. Do not recommend shop at that store. Staff isn't polite as well as management, poor website search and availability.
Very good specialty market, I saw a lot of foods I had forgotten about over the years and it was a massive throwback to my childhood to try them all again. The bread here is fantastic, and specialty meats like guanciale are fairly priced. It does get a bit expensive if you are buying imported goods, but there's no avoiding that, so it's best to do regular groceries elsewhere and go here for the things you really want but can't find anywhere. Also, the antipasto selection is massive, definitely a good market for me.
One of the best bakeries in London. They have some amazing products and the quality of their products is good too. There's always some or the other new treat to be found somewhere in the store. The prices are on the higher side (they do offer student discount) so, not the place to visit on a tight budget. Have had some great baked products from them in the past and will go back looking for new stuff sometime again!
Rainy day breakfast before running some errands in this part of town. Great food and service. Staff takes COVID precautions seriously. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh as well as cooked exactly as ordered.
A friend recommended this bakery. And we loved it. They have a wide range of products ranging from local fresh produce to cheeses to desserts and sauces/condiments. There was a very helpful server there by the name of Nav, who helped us pick desserts with halal ingredients. Nav was so patient with all of our questions and we loved all of the desserts we picked. They’re so fresh and not overly sweet. Love the strawberry shortcake birthday cake too, which we had for my son’s bday. I really love their outdoor patio sitting area for a nice European/ Mediterranean ambience for coffee.
First time and all I have to say to the bakery team, Awesome Job! Fresh and delicious cake. Everyone loved it and can’t wait to order again. Let’s not forget the beautiful detail I asked for and you guys added it to my cake.
