Unfortunately my experience here was very underwhelming. Service was very slow, and impersonal. It took over 10 minuets after being seated to receive our menus. We asked the hostess if it was busy that night, and she had said no. Our server didn't tell us about any drink or food specials or had any recommendations. Our reservation was at 8pm, at 8:50 we received our salad appetizer - which was beautifully plated and delicious. At 9:05 our server told us the kitchen was closing! on a Saturday night! The bathroom had an empty roll of toilet paper on the floor, and it looked very cheap with disposable paper towels that you toss into a basket under the sink on the floor. Also the napkin on the table was paper, not linen. We decided not to order entreés, Our server said she wasn't from the area so she didn't have any suggestions for where to get a nightcap. Overall, the service and atmosphere was poor here, but the food going to other tables was beautifully presented and looked delicious.

3.5 -> Had a great celebratory dinner at Abruzzi. The highlight of this dinner was definitely the main courses - we enjoyed the Beef Tenderloin, which was perfectly cooked and the Sweet Pea & Ricotta Ravioli. Service throughout the meal was excellent. We were disappointed to hear they were out of Octopus and settled on the Tuna Crudo (delicious) and Buratta (underwhelming / tiny portion - wouldn’t order again) for our appetizers. The cocktails at $15 each were also underwhelming. Bottles of wine are heavily marked up, so we settled on a few glasses to enjoy with the mains. They pack it pretty tight in there - be prepared to sit very close to your neighbours. We’ll likely return for casual weeknight dinners only in future - not sold on the apps, wine list or cocktails unfortunately.

Had my first experience at Abruzzi and it did not disappoint. I got their seasonal ravioli (I believe it was a pea and ricotta filling, and then topped with peas and ham), and it was delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive, and everyone enjoyed their meals greatly. I went with my family, and we all agreed we will be going back!

Giving this place two stars because the atmosphere was nice very small, nice lighting, fancier vibe. But absolutely NO vegetarian options which forced me to leave. Unless u like bread and beet salad you’re out of luck. The menu online is outdated I would call ahead if you have certain dietary restrictions. And when I asked if there was some meat I could substitute for vegetables they said no. Sad as this is one of the nicer restaurants in London.

My fiancees gnocchi was delicious, but the angel pasta was watery and needed more seasoning. They have good options, just choose wisely. The service and atmosphere is worth going for a date spot.

I had a great time at this restaurant, the food was filling and most importantly very delicious. I ordered the Chicken Supreme and it was cooked to perfection. The staff are truly committed to great service.

Super tender and juicy steak, every part of the dish was full of flavour.Chocolate torte and White chocolate cheesecake were perfectly done. Presentation for everything was amazing.Excellent waitress, she have us some great recommendations, was very attentive , and never made us feel rushed. We were seated beside a obnoxiously loud group of younger women however ,the atmosphere was very romantic. Will be coming back to try more

Wonderful food and service! Went in on a Friday night and although they were busy, we had decent service and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I love going to Taverna, so of course I liked this as well :) Menu’s a little bit different, which was nice to experience! Highly recommend you support local.

First the GOOD as we all know Covid-19 restrictions have hurt a lot of downtown London restaurants, so we decided for our Anniversary we would order a takeout dinner and support Abruzzi's. We pre-paid and our pickup time was 6 PM. Arriving promptly at 6 PM, my partner went in to pickup the order, while I waited with the car running and my 4-way flashers on. Within 5 minutes we were gone. The 3 course dinner was excellent! The BAD: Next week we received 2 parking tickets in the mail. One for "No Stopping" the other for "Park-Obstructing Traffic" each ticket was $75.00 EACH! Here is a suggestion (I'm not blaming Abruzzi's), but considering their location with "No Parking or Stopping" on King St., that it may be a good idea to post a sign in the window and/or advise their customers that they shouldn't stop or park in front for takeout pickup. The staff taking the takeout order could also remind customers, or post on order website.
