Was expecting more ?As a girl from East Europe, I know what to expect. From the menu have tried Serbian salad(eastern Europe typical vegetable salad), it was super nice maybe a bit too much salt. As well soup Ghoulash, was a good quality, but too spicy…my lips was burning ? Half less pepper and it would be perfect. As well custard cream pie, a bit more sugar next time, and not so soft cream, would make it a better pie. ??
The food at Veslo is excellent along with the great service. We got the platter for two and it was way more than we could eat. Was delicious the next day for lunch. Very popular with return customers. Keep up the good work!
I visited Veslo Family Restaurant for lunch. It was my first time dining here. We ordered two large Hunter schnitzel meals and one large Gypsy schnitzel meal. The meals were huge! The schnitzel was cooked to perfection. The potatoes were the best I've ever had. I will definitely come again soon.Our server Alek was great.Anyone wanting great Serbian food, eat here. You will enjoy and want to return.
If you haven't visited yet, you are missing out! Food is absolutely delicious and the family is SO friendly! 200/10 recommend! Get yourself a reservation and you won't be disappointed!
I adore this restaurant..been coming for the last 7 years..i always get fast, friendly service, and delicious food. The Veslo brothers have always been very nice to me. Everything on the menu is delicious ? but i usually get the karadjordjeva schnitzel dinner..? yummy!

Absolutely delicious food and amazing service. My husband and I went to university in Waterloo years ago and were back in town visiting friends. We tried Veslo Family Restaurant for the first time and are sad we didn’t try it sooner! We had the platter for 2 and it was incredible. Huge portion size and everything was top quality. It truly feels like you are eating in a family home. We can’t wait to eat here again!
I drive all the way from Saskatchewan to eat at this restaurant. I dream about the platter, and speak of it out west, as the legend should be told to all. This is a hidden gem in Kitchener. This restaurant needs no review. Enjoy!
Got their Hunter Schnitzel tonight, Excellent! as is the home fries and salad.
Bought their homemade chicken soup and it has absolutely no chicken no vegetables very tiny noodles it's not a proper chicken noodle soup. I think this is lower quality than you get at a homeless shelter. I paid $15 with Uber eats to get this.
