Love The Works- been to the one in Brampton, Milton, Guelph and now this one and the food is consistently good and tastes the same across the board, which is a hard thing to do. Always get my go-to Malibu Meltdown and was amazing as usual. Can't remember which one my partner got but she loved it too. One of our go-to burger joints- don't mind spending a bit more $ on these burgers since the quality shows! Big portions too! ?
Awesome burger!Fries are bottomless but I was filled from the burger!Good service.
I have had The Works before and being vegetarian I always get the beyond meat and custom make my burger. It is always yum! The onions rings were good as well. Service at this location was good! Only reason for 4-stars is because it is on the pricey side.
I wouldn’t go here again and wouldn’t suggest it. The food and pictures sound amazing but the execution was not good. I had the Waldorf salad which was ok but it had brown avocado. I ordered a side of chicken breast that was almost inedible because it was over cooked, burned and hard. Think cardboard. My husband had an over cooked elk burger, bread was good, toppings were so so. He said it was not like the picture looked. And lastly, it was overpriced for the quality.
I can't tell if this is blatant false-advertising, an ignorant server, or a malicious attempt to pad the bill -- but I have had it with this particular Works location. Not only were we charged for 3 drinks instead of 2, since allegedly they don't cover free refills (despite never being a problem in the past), but they also refused to honor the "bottomless fries" as indicated in the menu (which was also never a problem in the past). This particular location consistently has poorer quality than the Waterloo location. Just save yourself the trouble, and go to Waterloo.
You'd think that when you're paying $60 for two burgers and three sides with takeout, they'd at least follow simple instructions for your order, or not forget sauces for your sides - but thats not the case because it's happened every time I've ordered take out from here. I used to work at the works and the kitchen staff honestly just don't care, and will be super petty and do the opposite of what you ask.
First time coming here. Wife got the "Tom green" and I got the "hamburger Mary".Burgers were cooked perfect, nice and tender. They have home made sauces we had on the side for dipping. Oh yeah, and they sell beer too. I thought I was getting a fast food place. Prices are modest/competitive for a decent sit down dinner. Will definitely be back.
Delicious, however they dropped my favourite burger off the menu throughout covid which like… understandable but not the same ?
We stopped by for a date night. Safety precautions were in place and followed strictly. Food was great, served promptly and came exactly as advertised in the menu. Prices are fair and portions are generous. Parking lot outside of the plaza was busy but we found a spot nearby. Go for the combinations and pricing.
Rare burgers aren't my thing. Food was average at best for the price charged $128 for 5 burgers. Again, one of the burgers was cooked very rare. Requested sauce wasn't sent. Uber driver was great...but that was all that was great.
