The service was amazing. I assume the waffle maker was broken as the waffle was undercooked even on the second attempt. Regardless of that, they were super understanding and took it back with no question. After the second attempt they offered to just take it off the bill. Amazing people and the omelettes are delicious.
I have ordered here a few times and wow, the food is bad period. The eggs are over cooked, the potato is okay but wow the eggs. I have ordered before and sent feedback to Head office and well its a waste of time. Order from Country Boys or sit in at there as they are FAR better, I will include photos of both. Bacon is country boys, peameal is sunset. Oh I forgot the toast they serve and the freshness of the bread is TERRIBLE wow , well done NOT Sunset Grill. Avoid avoid avoid. So I see the response from the company and this is not the FIRST TIME I RAISED THE ISSUE - So this is like the fifth - so again I say avoid it. They will blah blah blah we are going to bring it up with the owner of the location blah blah and nothing changes.
Found a long black hair in my meal. The restaurant was very defensive and unhelpful and offered no refund or help. Very unhygienic and frankly disgusting.
I would avoid this place for breakfast.Asked for tea with lemon on side, waitress informed me no lemons since COVID.I had breakfast at other places including sunset grill location in Cambridge who had lemon in last month , to me it’s the owners who are clearly being cheap by not having available to customers.Ordered 3 egg breakfast.The eggs are small, the home fries were boiled potatoes cut into smaller pieces no flavour at all, if I wanted boiled potatoes I would of stayed home.Home fries should be fried in some way, have some flavour, hence the name home fries.The only positive was bacon was crispy like I wanted.
Ordered take out, first time coming here. Wasn't impressed, eggs were Overhard bacon burnt and rubbery home fries as if they were on the grill all day or reheated. Only 2 tables in the restaurant at 830am. Not one to complain bit I've worked for some of the best breakfast places in the city and this isn't one of them ...
My husband and I are occasional weekday diners at this location, and today we came on a weekend during their lunch rush. It was quite busy, but we were very well looked after. The servers are all very attentive and the management is lovely. We give them an A+++
The food is always fresh and on time! Plus the staff and owners are super friendly and make you feel welcome at all times. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for some quality breakfast or lunch.
I order from Sunset Grill quite often. The food is always fresh, hot and tasty. Today I received an additional treat with my order and I am very grateful. Yummy. Thank you.

In these times, if you have money for dine-out breakfast, there are much better places closer to this location or if you are Sunset Grill fan, drive to Cambridge location which has better service, better presentation and better food. Looks like owners have changed and all has gone down. Very disappointed!
