Speakeasy experience to it's highly level. Place is soft basic and honest. Bar is perfect If you like cocktails done accordingly to the products. If you're there to get wasted... maybe you not at the zone.No matter what you think... give that hideout its chance. I'm quite sure you"ll adopt it?
I contacted this establishment so that I could organize a 1920s themed bachelorette. They emailed me with confirmation that they would not take an actual reservation but that they were open and we should come down with our party. I contacted them the day before for their password and was told that they were no longer excepting people as they were closed for a private function even though they confirmed with me four weeks earlier that we should come. Very disappointed.
Love this spot! Tucked away in an alleyway off Queen St., entering through the windowless steel door, immediately makes you feel you’re sneaking into a slightly and deliciously shady place.Combine that with bartender Matt Hewson’s seductive cocktails & a sexy Burlesque Show and you can definitely feel transported back in time to a very colourful time in local history.
This bar is cool! A back alley entrance through a steel door down into a concrete basement that turns into an amazing bar! Huge private rum collection and cocktails that are prepared for discerning tastes, and a small menu of hors d'hoeuvres. Very interesting place to visit, with very polite, knowledgeable staff.
I had such an amazing time - the food, cocktails, atmosphere, and entertainment were full on top notch! Can't wait to go back!

The drinks are amazing, the staff is always nice. The only reason they lost a star is the music volume. The place is too small for the volume they have it on. I always feel like I'm yelling in the middle of a dance floor when having casual drinks.
Cool atmosphere. Coincidentally showed up the night of a burlesque show which really added to the speakeasy feeling. Great cocktails too don't forget!
Fantastic ambience, had a great time at the comedy show. Will return for sure
