The owner of this place is absolutely hospitable and kind. All his food is made in house.....right down to the pickles, garlic mayo and pomegranate sauce. The chicken is perfectly seasoned, and you can taste the fresh lemon and garlic. The gyros is also made in house and out of this world. Do yourself a favour and drop in for lunch or dinner, you won't be disappointed!
My mom got me Shawarma for me from here today. It was my first time getting it from here but I will definitely be coming for more. I have tried many different shawarma places in the region and this is hands down the best. The owner is super friendly and very humble. He gave my mom 2 free falafels for us to try, such a generous owner. I highly recommend trying this place you won't regret it. I don't write reviews often but I felt like I had to write a review.
Had extremely low expectations but daaaaaaamn. Owner took time to explain me how meat is prepared, what is made in-house and tweaks that they have made to standard recipes. They even went as far as giving me free gyros sample, hot sauce and hummus. Wow that was amazing. Never experienced this kind of service before.I did try other places and they usually hide poor quality by adding extra deep fried fries or extra garlic sauce. Not these guys. It was perfect. In addition one of the cleanest places I have seen. Usually shawarma places have dirty windows but not here. I’m definitely coming back.
So far the best! The owner is so friendly and talkative. He knows how to run his business in perfection.Food is delicious, and as a middle eastern, I would say he’s the best around! He’s so generous and food quantity is always more than expected. He makes sure that the customers are always satisfied.
Visited a couple of weeks ago for the first time and didn't know what to expect.The owner is a delight to talk to! Super friendly, beyond helpful, went the extra mile to make sure that even my 9 year old was happy with his wrap.Customer service: I must say, I have NEVER received customer service as such from anywhere! Never mind that he made sure that we are happy with the food, he made sure that we are happy in his presence, period.Food: Absolutely delicious! He dipped the wrap in the broth and did the firey thing that I had not seen before, but that made the wrap taste even better! The portion sizes are big as well. We ended up eating it for two days.Sir, hats off to you! You have a forever customer now ;)
Middle-Eastern food is always subject to the interpretation of the specific country of influence. That being said, their free lentil soup is great, and the ingredients are all fresh and taste great. Just not quite my preference.
This place used to be a go to for shawarma poutine. Tonight when I ordered it was full of oil, like a good inch of oil drenching my fries not gravy. I took it back and there was a younger guy that was mad aggressive telling me “it’s how it’s supposed to be from the chicken”. I just paid 18.00 for the poutine and drink and I’ve had food from here since they opened. All I asked was if I could get a new one without the oil soup. He made another one but I don’t think I’ll be coming back here anymore after how the staff handled it. In the future it’s not polite to speak about people in front of their face in a language you assume I did not understand.
Small amount of chicken they put in their sandwich and plates. Just they fill orders with lots of fries. For that price can find better shawarma in city. Not recommended!
