A small mom and pop restaurant delivering authentic Cantonese cuisine. The flavours of their dim sums were right out of my childhood memories from the early 2000s in Guangzhou, more authentic to many other restaurants I have been to when I was living in Toronto. Returned many times for dine-in and takeout. Please be patient with them as they can get quite busy with orders even during COVID, and like I said it is a mom and pop shop. However, the authentic taste is definitely worth the wait, plus the price is more than reasonable!
Authentic Chinese Cuisine and good prices. It's a small place if eating inside but they also have take-out. We had ordered their dinner for 5 which was just okay. I noticed other dishes delivered to other customers were looking more Authentic. Our vegetable fried rice was rice with what looked like frozen mixed veggies tossed in. Not our favorite place.Plentiful parking and clean bathroomNo gluten-free options were available
The food is good. But it's so slow and the service is not professional at all. We went there last Saturday noon and not many guests there. We ordered 7 dim sums at the first round, 1 dish at the second round. We stayed 1.5 hours there. The owner didn't give my husband the order details when he checked out. After we came back home, we realized that the squid tail we ordered on the first round never came. We were probably charged for that. I tried to call the restaurant for several times but no one answer the phone.
Horrible customer service.Waitress had an airpod in her ear the whole entire time. Tried to ask for stuff and she would just walk away clearly didn’t hear us so I would have to walk up to the front desk to ask for condiments.I had a toddler with me and the waitress didn’t even bother asking if I needed a high chair so I had to go grab it myself. Our table was piling up with dishes and she wouldn’t even clear it up so we can have some more space. When paying through the debit machine I skipped pass the tip option because I was going to tip in cash and the women who cashed me out that worked in the kitchen started calling me out that I didn’t tip about 3 times out loud and everyone in the restaurant was just staring at me….Such a horrible experience, will not be coming back. It was suppose to be a fun birthday lunch with my family…
The dinner for 2s are fantastic. The pring rolls are HUGE! We got the dinner for 2B and it was delicious. Friendly staff. We will be back. Highly recommend.
Definitely the best dimsum in the kw area... However if you are in a run and need to grab something quick I would not recommend the place., everything is made fresh so it take very long time to get the food expect about 1h to 1h30 to receive the whole order about (about 50,to 60$ of food). Servers are nice but could pay more attention to the tables
Amazing ? got the beef with black bean sauce and thick noodles ? nice spice and huge portion ( I already ate some in this picture)
Was really messy, every table had dirty dishes on them, there was one older couple dining in and they said they’d been sitting there for an hour and a half and only got their drinks (and i think an app). There were a number of other customers waiting a very long time for their food, one man ordered ahead to pickup at 5pm (it was 6 when i arrived) and he had only just received his food 10 minutes after i got there. There was a ~2 year old child running around the room talking to customers (which isnt safe at all for an infant or for customers due to covid), the kid also had mcdonalds on one of the tables that had been there since we placed the order at 1pm. There’s a tower of toys in the corner that look like a trap from Indiana Jones. 2 stars because the food was pretty good, just unsatisfied for the customer service and felt very bad for the other customers. There should be better coordination and more workers (looked like there was only 1 or 2 people cooking and 1 person at the register [wasnt even at the register most of the time])
Service was terribly slow. There was some confusion when ordering dimsum. They gave us the same thing twice... the system of ordering dimsum here seemed unorganized. They should provide a copy of what you ordered so we can keep track to make sure all items are received. Food was good... but doesn't make up for the slow service.
The worst dining experience at a restaurant we ever had. Service ,was very bad. Food order was very slow and cold.one dish at a time.we won't be back.
