Love Mei King ! … I went again last weekend and it was delicious as usual. The sesame tofu and plain lo mein noodles taste delicious and are packed full in the containers every time. The staff is always super friendly and they make the order in very good time. 5 stars.
This was my first and last time ordering from this restaurant. I ordered a number 7 (fried rice, chicken chop suey, chicken balls), as well as a side of chicken wings. The food was lacking in both flavour and freshness. The chicken wings had an overwhelming taste of black pepper. Overall, I did not enjoy this meal at all. The only reason why I didn't give 1 star is because the packaging and portion sizes was decent.
DONT BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. This place is amazing everything you order comes out so hot you can't even eat it yet which means it's cooked well. The taste is on point with exactly what I expected from my order. Been going here for years and it's always been good!
We have been patrons of Mei King for over 20 years. Our absolute favourite Chinese restaurant! Best Cantonese Lo Mein and egg rolls in town!! However the past few time we have ordered from here has been such a disappointment. The egg rolls were these tiny little things half the size they used to be for more money of course. They had almost no bean sprouts in them and were awful. Nothing like the amazing egg rolls they used to have. Their Cantonese was tasteless with hardly any shrimp or chicken. Just big chunks of gross chewy pork, onions and spinach? Hardly and good veggies like green pepper, broccoli, snap peas. Chicken balls are pretty much just batter now as well. So sad, this place used to be amazing with the absolute best food. Now all they do is cut corners and raise prices.
Tasty food, great portion, value for money. The owner talks patiently and sweetly. I keep taking out as well as ordering from here very often. Taste is always the same, fresh and hot. Love it!
Great food. Take out was fast and efficient. Food was still piping hot when we got it home. I ordered and the food was ready when i arrived. The owner's daughter give my son a lollipop. Appreciate this small gesture.
Food is always predictable and good. Staff are excellent. Been going here for years. You won't regret it. Had the Mongolian beef this time and it didn't disappoint.
Good for take out or delivered. Indoor dining wasnt available last time there due to the pandemic, not that we wanted to eat in, but is tasty at a decent price.
Ordered kung pao chicken. Nice lady on the phone said “kung pao gai ding, same thing”No, I said. Gai ding means “mixed vegetables.” Kung pao chicken is just chicken, onions, peanuts.”She said ok.Here’s my $16 bowl of kung pao onions.Never going back.
