The food is okay, but there’s definitely a handful of flaws with this specific location. For starters, they’re notorious for forgetting certain order items when you go through their drive through. By the time you get your food and realize you’re missing something, you won’t even feel like it’s worth going back in the drive through for. The drive through is extremely dysfunctional. You could be first, but it’s split into two, so another car could just cut you off even if you ordered first. Then there’s ordering from this location. Almost any time I’ve ordered from this location on SkipTheDishes, it literally takes about an hour just to deliver. When it does, your food is room temperature and not even hot anymore.Other than that stuff, food is OKAY. It’s definitely nothing special though. All negativity aside, I know how difficult fast food can be. I don’t really get mad about the constant mess ups with my food, I just think there needs to be more rules and supervision enforced for employees to lessen mistakes with orders.

If I could I would give zero stars. Got parked for my order 2 happy meals and 2 combos. Waited 30 minutes and watched over 25 cars go through . The person beside me waited just as long for 2 burgers. Talked to the manager on shift and the attitude was terrible. On top of that was missing cheese on one of the burgers , fries were ice cold in the happy meals and missing one full burger.

I order from this particular store a lot as it is near my house and the order usually takes like an hour or so to deliver, and the items are also missing in the delivery. How someone is supposed to eat chicken nuggets without a dipping sauce? Every time I mention in the instructions not to add ice in my drinks and still I get ice in all of my drinks.Food quality is not bad but you should double-check someone's order before giving it away.

I ordered a large Iced Coffee, and it came quickly and correctly, despite the fact that there were line ups. They know, to make the drinks first because that makes sense, even at a fast food restaurant. It gave me enough caffeine to stand at the bus stop where there were no seats and book a rental car. Thank you McDonald's Highland Road. Plus I worked at Highland Road Church and they were a good church so the name Highland Road has a positive association in my mind.

This location is terrible! Because it is the closest to us, our skip order always gets redirected here. Although their sign says 24/7, there is clearly a few hr shut down time anywhere between 3-5am. We have put through a skip order around 2am, a driver heads to the location promptly, then sits in limbo for 1/2 hr or more before our order gets cancelled! I called the store, as this has happened a few times. The young man who answered sounded apologetic, yet had no clue what to do or say. He blamed the apps, although the app said it is up to the franchise to shut off their services. The food and service is generally terrible. We get very cold/old fries from here, burned english muffins, shells in our egg patty, there is hardly ever a time you actually get everything you order, and if you do, the quality is still bad. Burgers are always lop sided, with the stuff slipping off the bun. You either get a tiny squirt of mayo on one side or if you ask for extra, the whole thing is drown in it, completely sloppy. If your lucky enough to get a McFlurry (ice cream machine is usually broken) they have no idea how to stir it proper. All the candy bits on top, plain ice cream rest of the way through. Nuggets & fries are always stale. English muffins are generally stale yet burnt as well. You have to call repeatedly till you get answered, and when you do, no compensation of any kind. I've never gotten a single coupon for any of the screw ups I've encountered. Drive through window staff are usually young rushy females with attitude. Do yourself a favor & go anywhere but here!

Consistently the slowest and most error-prone service I've ever seen. It's like the owner and management have a bet going to see how poorly they can run a chain and still rake in money. You would do well to go to literally any other location. Even if you drove to Cambridge and back, you would still get your food faster and it would have a better chance of being warm.

This would’ve been my toddlers breakfast but it went straight to the garbage!1. How can you burn a toast?2. Why do you give out instead of making a new one?Next time just tell me to throw the money out the window….

This location has gone downhill since COVID started. There's constantly like 15 staff and a third of them are just chilling. Is there a line? Probably because there's 6 people gathered around 1 person making a coffee all laughing and giggling. Like it's fine to have a bit of fun at work but there's constantly like 6 staff members just chilling, standing around, making zero effort to do anything seemingly job related. It's a very busy location in general and always super slow. It doesn't seem understaffed though, just a third of the staff aren't working at any given time. They also seem to never clear the garbage out or clean up the soda machine area because it's always super dirty whenever I go.

Ordered 2 Big Mac meals with diet cokes. Was given a Pepsi and a root beer. No straws were in bag. Employees need to pay attention to what they are doing. Girl at window just shoving out the orders. No customer service at all. She needs more training.

I was at McDonald's on Highland Road and attempted to pay for my meal, but my debit card wouldn't work. The beautifully pleasant and cheerful staff member (at 4:00 in the morning) said, "Here, your meal is on us today". Bless her, bless her, bless her! It wasn't just about the generosity. It was more about her demeanor, her jovial attitude and her understanding. I would recommend this location simply because of the greatness of the staff. Thanks again!
