Went in last night around 10:45 p.m. with a group of 8 after an amazing show at Rusty Nail. The hostess at the front was nice enough and informed us that the kitchen would be closing in 10 min. I said that was fine since we only came for a drink and would just sit at the bar. Waited 10-15 min and we weren't acknowledged let alone had a drink order taken. It wasn't even busy! We ended up just walking out. So disappointing.
This is our second time here and it’s been great! The people working are always so kind and check on us every 5 minutes which is great. The appetizers are 50% off after 8 and are come of the best appetizers in town!
Went in for dinner, only 3 tables full. Was told to seat myself so I did. Waited over 5 minutes while the servers chatted behind the bar, no one even came to take my drink order or bring me a menu? And they certainly weren’t busy. I waited 8 min without being acknowledged at a table by myself before walking out; unnoticed. If this is how long it takes to even get a menu in a practically empty restaurant, I didn’t want to see how long it took for anything else. How many customers do you lose with this poor service?Edited to add: they also had the garage doors open on a 30 degree humid day, making the restaurant hot and uncomfortable.
Awful experience. Management is rude to staff and food was not up to par for the prices they are charging. Also witnessed inappropriate behaviours and was under the influence that staff management were partaking in partying with each other instead of worrying about paying customers.
Horrible place for customer service. They are fortunate to have a university market because the service is horrible, literally over an hou for French fries. We waited for over 25 minutes to even get in even tho there were open tables. The guy at the door said we had to wait even tho there were open tables because the wait staff we’re trying to catch up. As we were waiting, One of the waitresses demanded we wait off to the side because we were blocking her way in. Seriously the worst bar we’ve ever been. Which is why me and the entire line after us left. Because there were lots of open tables but apparently we all couldn’t get in because waitresses couldn’t handle it. This place needs management to be there on weekends and stop letting ppl run it that aren’t even remotely qualified. Could seriously do so much better in sales. Upper management is so useless. Good they have the market and no competition. Just collecting the easy pay cheque . Because they. Really need to be out on a Friday or Saturday night and see all the sale they are missing because so poorly run. And no one ever complains because they are university students. So many loss of sales. Pathetic management. Just show up and you’ll see I’m not wrong. But if owners ok doing the minimum amount of making money I guess all is good.
Lindsay was our server and she was amazing. Quick and very friendly.Food was amazing and well priced as well.
The wait time for this restaurant was absolutely inexcusable... We waited in line for at least an hour only to be passed by waitress staff multiple times while open available tables could be seen. Once staff decided to acknowledge our existence, we were seated and not even asked for proof of vaccination... Not sure if protocol has changed or if we, the guests, now need to remind staff how to do their jobs, but I thought it was a requirement for places to verify vaccination status, which wasn't done... Despite all this, the food was great, thumbs up to the kitchen staff only. My negative review is for general service and to your waitresses/those working the floor. They suck. Try other locations for this restaurant, this one I'll never visit again.
The wait time was inexcusable!! Took over 45 mins for someone to even ask if we were seen yet AND we still weren’t seated. The restaurant was busy; however, there were 4 waitresses and empty tables. No excuse why they let customers wait so long before seating them. I’d suggest they hire someone who knows and understands the value of customer service.
Ordered through skip the dishes but have been here many times before. The food was great , portions were massive and tasted good. Forgot a few things but over all would rate this restaurant 5/5!
Their Canadian pizza is delicious. Love their crust.
