Another awesome birthday dinner. Food was top notch with great variety. Our amazing server Lee was excellent as usual. Like an old friend, it is always nice to be remembered and catch up on how are families are doing. We always feel welcome and like we are at a family gathering. Can’t wait to go again.
The Mandarin buffet is back better then ever! There are so many choices I wandered around with wide eyes trying to decide just what to get. We appreciated that everyone visiting the buffet wore disposal gloves. The food was all at the perfect temperature and delicious. There are so many delectable dessert choices that it was a challenge to narrow it down.Our waitress was friendly, attentive and always filled our glasses before they were half empty.Being a Saturday lunch the atmosphere was lively with a wedding party, and lots of little ones. It added to the experience. Lots of laughter. Everyone was loving their visit.
It's so nice to get back to dine-in the restaurant. The taste, the service and the atmosphere are as the same as before Covid. Especially we met the waitress Emily. She is a wonderful waitress. We are so happy to see the familiar face after the extremely tough time. We enjoyed our family time.Thank you Mandarin for being there.
I love this place for dine in and take out...usually. But today...I got a little frustrated being charged $16.99 for a little piece of salmon that goes for $9 in a grocery store. Lesson learned, won’t be ordering that again...
5 for service4.5 for food4.5 overallCame here hoping for the buffet but it must be on certain days and my fault for not checking further.They have a cool dine in mini menu that is really good for 2 people to share the dishes.While there are proteins of chicken, pork, shrimp etc. it would be great to see tofu.Thank you for the great service!
The Kitchener Mandarin has become a delight to visit; I'm used to the ones in Barrie and Guelph. I found the food to be especially fresh at the Kitchener location. There have even been a couple instances where I was able to get a table without a reservation (which I don't recommend).I've really enjoyed my last couple of visits here. I even ended up the same server - Henry, who is very attentive and personable. Awesome staff!

Excellent food and service! Have not been here for a few years due to pandemic. But came back on April 9th /22 for lunch. We were surprised and loved the added items. Everything was delicious and huge variety for everyone. Family loved it! The best food and service its ever been. Cant wait to go again :)
First visit with my family in 2022, Mandarin restaurant still a great place to dine in with friends and family. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Foods are still amazing. Over 100 items you can choose from ,sizzling prime rib , juicy baked salmon and delicious Crème Brûlée are all my favorite. I really wish I had a big stomach to taste them all !Not only is the food impeccable but the service and hospitality is top notch! Today is my son‘s birthday, our server’s name is Henry. He is the best server I had ever seen . He is so attentive and detailed oriented. At the end of meal, he come to our table with his partners singing the birthday song enthusiastically and took a picture. Later before we leave,he give us a free birthday picture which my son collect every year from Mandarin.Overall,thank you Henry and Mandarin give my son and my family such a unforgettable dinning experience!
We enjoyed take out on Christmas Day and were not disappointed! We ordered online a few days ahead (was very straight forward). Our substantial order was correct, and food was excellent! They appeared to be very busy, but well organized…we’d do this again.
