Infamous hotpot in Waterloo area, love their beef and chicken dishes, so tender and yummy, the best part is that even when they cook a bit longer they are still so tender and juicy. The shrimp wontons also taste so good, hand made meat balls are so smooth. Just focus on the food, don't mind the street looking DaPaiDong style. Parking space is limited. Don't be scared with other reviews, just follow their rules, no touch, no question asked, imagine you're in Hell's kitchen eating with Gordon Ramsay =)
Whole place is dirty and smells bad. Chairs and plates aren't clean, and had diarrhea for the next two days after eating.
Was a disappointing experience came looking for a good hot pot location and got pushed aside during the entire time. Put behind a wall not spoken to except to tell me where to sit. Had no service just given the food and left alone had to ask for a drink after witnessing dozens of top tier service for others very disappointed.
Food is always delicious, especially the dipping sauce. Experience is depending on how you follow the rules tho lol
This is an order for 3 people for take out. Are you serious? You guys are ckcsckers. 3 shrimp??? Wtfff72$. You guys need to get your business shut down
food quality compared at price is very reasonable, we can pretty much only expect the taste about food and then forget about the environment
Staff were yelling at us because of we accidentally touched the stove. The chubby waiter even wanna fight us outside. The female one called the boss who is also her father to kick us out. Please stay away from here, you got so many choices in Toronto, please don’t waste any of your money here.
Very rude owner and very unsanitary environment. We also got terribly sick after eating here and had diarrhea for 3 days straight. I used to come here in the past without any issues but recently it's been absolutely horrible and I'm never coming here again.
Food and prices are great, staff is generally pretty nice. Owner is pretty rude and walks around snapping at tables, but if you care less about service and more about the food and prices, it can be a pretty good trade off.
PLEASE don’t support this place. Went in with a party of two and they tried to sit us with another table (with no distancing…during COVID 14K cases a day). When mentioning it wasn’t safe, the waitress had this smug attitude and showed us to another table (which was the door). I honestly have no idea how this place is still open it’s quite disgusting without even mentioning how unclean it is.The owner should be ashamed and clearly only cares about himself and how much money he can make.
