I have tried this place 3 times now. I have really wanted to like it as it's close to home and other reviews are generally good. Plainly said it's OK. The food is ok, the quality is OK. I had the all day special. I chose the ginger beef which came with rice, 2 spring rolls and soup. The price was very good at $11.99. The price can't be beat. The portion was a good size. The taste and quality was just OK. All 3 times i have got take out and the order taker was pleasant and quick to pick up. I didn't plan on going back after 2 mediocre meals, but caved due to proximity. Don't think I will be returning.

Short version: decent food, bad service. For detailed review, keep reading. We went there in quite a large group and occupied three tables. Let me cover the service first. One of the tables we tried to sit in initially had ants on the floor. We pointed this out to the person standing at the reception. I think restaurants should be very rigorous with cleanliness. That one thing almost immediately ruined the whole experience. The food serving was extremely slow. Once they served soup, no one came to collect used bowls and serve rest of the food items for another 40 to 45 minutes. Now, for the food itself. We ordered Chicken Hot & Sour Soup, Chilli Chicken, Chicken Hakka Noodles, and Thai Chilli Chicken. Everything was decent except Noodles which were plain to the point of being tasteless.I think they have a huge potential for improvement but they really need to hire more people and train them better.

The hot-n-sour soup was first, and I loved it… it even had chicken in it. The came my all day special - I went with Hakka beef and upgraded to fried rice, just so I could try theirs. The Hakka beef had a light heat to it, a shade saltier tasting than I’m used to, but hardly a show stopper - so I can say it was really good. I didn’t find the egg/chicken in the fried rice… but it was still good. The veg had a bit of char, which added a Smokiness to it.A good first impression, I’ll be back.

Ash Wednesday - no meat, specifically asked for fish, wrote down FISH on receipt, and look at what I bit into...chicken...call up irritate, had to suggest what could be done to make up for time and gas to drive back (22mins)...and then after making up a new meal, chooses to FURTHER RE-ENFORCE their mistake, and my mistake in choosing to complain and return by telling me to keep or offer the mistaken chicken for fish to someone else, in the home or have it another day...so to compensate for their error, I need to be REMINDED of this error, and further eat or offer their mistake to others to eat, because they can certainly touch the box and plastic bag it came in to inspect to see if I'm lying, but can't get a plastic bag and throw it out as part of their garbage. They were telling me, please go out and tell others that we will not accept our mistake back, but put it on your shoulders to dispose of. Asking if they have take-out options for their table sauces, a flat out NO. Mind you there are individual portions in the fridge in take-out containers. Clearly customer retention is not of interest to them, but new customers are. Kitchener and the people here are Canadian, and we value the experience more than wasting food. In an Indian culture it appears it's commonplace to insult customers because it's ok to make them adapt to our non-waste attitude of food over theirs, and make Canadians take the restaurants' errors with them to discard. We at Kitchen Wall Haka want you to be reminded of our error every time you open our menu, and especially when you eat our mistakes, because we lack proper customer service skills that we should have acquired working at McDonald's as teenagers to know that the customer's experience (and review for others to read) comes first.

I'll be back, great find! I wanted to try something different from the usual take-out. I am very happy I tried Kitchen Wall Hakka. The food is fresh, the portions are good and the flavors and spices are just perfect. In my humble opinion I'd identify the food as Asian Fusion. Staff are friendly and the restaurant is clean. Looking for something different...give it a try, you will be pleasantly surprised!

The food is sooo good! The whole family loved it. I consider myself a Hakka connoisseur. So glad we have a spot this good in town. No longer have to go to Toronto to have Hakka. Caution: if u ask for extra spicy, you will get extra spicy. (I love spicy but for those not used to spice be careful what u ask for). The owner is super nice too! Great service the time I had dine in before the lock down

BEST HAKKA CHINESE PLACE EVER !!!Ordered veg Manchurian and noodles and it was damn great !Great quantity as well !

I enjoyed the egg hakka noodles. It was a very big portion for one person. Very good customer service, friendly waitress and the restaurant was clean. The waitress that served me was a hard worker. She checked in in the middle of our meal and she looked presentable. A big thumbs up from my side. Thank you

This was my first trial at the restaurant and I am really disappointed with the quality of food.I ordered schezwan veg fried rice today, the rice was uncooked and with average taste. If you charge 12-13$ please provide some quality food. Who is responsible if I get food poisoning or my health gets affected after eating that uncooked rice. Owners this is message for you I will complain about your restaurant to Canadian food inspection company. Please guys do not order from the store. Instead you should offer refunds for such bad quality
