Disappointed in the customer service and lack of professionalism by staff. The quality of the food was not great. We ordered two desserts one was a chocolate cake and the second was a cookie. Both tasted stale. The vibe was just not a great vibe. Very disappointed and not what we except or are used to from Coffee Culture. We have been to the other location on King and also in Toronto and the experience was much different. In addition at first we could not tell who was working there because they were not wearing the traditional Coffee Culture uniform. This location lacks professionalism in every way. We felt more like we were bothering them when we asked for napkins and the staff seem on edge. Not a happy vibe.
I love the space! Great place to study (if you don’t mind the noise).A worker came up to me today and told me that I wasn’t allowed to stay long because I was studying. She said I was only allowed 30 minutes, meanwhile, there were others in the store seated and unbothered by her. There were people in booths chatting for over 30 minutes and they weren’t asked to leave. Why is it that I have to leave when I’m peacefully minding my own business, I’m not disruptive like the other, and like them,I have my purpose for coming here, regardless if it’s for a chat or to study.
One of the worst iced coffees I’ve had. Ordered caramel iced coffee the first time. It was so watery and bitter. Felt like black coffee with ice cubes. I was like whatever, gave it another try today asking for hazelnut iced coffee and it was worse, extremely watery despite the fact I asked for milk in it, extremely bitter, no hazelnut flavor whatsoever. Never coming back, this is sad because I live very close by and often come to shop so pick a drink before hand. Will go to either booster juice or get an iced coffee from McD moving forward.
Cozy place with friendly staff.I'd come here to hang out with friends or if I wanted a nice place to do my work in peace.The drinks are great too. I always also like to grab a piece of cake too since the cakes at Coffee Culture are so delicious.
Greate ambiance. Perfect for the kinds of people who like to go to coffe shops and do work in a booth or read a book. The wait for our drinks were a little lenghty but i understand the process takes time when you get more than just a coffee.
Cozy place for a sip of drink or simple meal. Just wish they have more options for non- coffee drinker. Just organic tee was the only option for a hot drink for me. But overall it is a good place to take a break.
Great cappuccino. They have things in place for social distancing. And they check your vaccine passport so I felt safe dining in.
The food and drinks are good, but the people behind the counter straight up don't wear masks most of the time... like, it's not even like it's down around their chin or something. Nope. It's nowhere to be seen. There's the occasional staff member who will be wearing one, but it's very rare.
Fast service and decent drink but despite loads of signage for covid safety measures the staff did not have a mask on. Felt very uneasy with them handling food and drinks. Get with the program and protect yourself and others.
Only one staff member respected mask policy, remaining were unmasked. I can understand if they wore a sheild or taking orders behind shielded till, but they were making the food and bringing it out for everyone. Won’t be coming back
