The Vietnamese subs from Givral Deli are superb. Each mini baguette is loaded with cucumber, cilantro, pickled carrot, mayonnaise, and seasonings as well as your choice of meat, chicken, fish, or vegetarian option. They are also great value. I have been enjoying subs and other prepared foods from this deli for two decades.

Hope this place never a-banh mhi-dons (abandons) me. The BBQ pork and classic banh are very yummy and cheap!

This is my favourite place to get a quick bite downtown Kitchener! The food is incredible and the employees are very friendly. They also allow me to order from the street when I have my dog with me and can't go inside with him.I recommend both the beef and chicken teriyaki subs , with a spring roll side.

I (and co-workers) often order from here for a quick and delicious lunch - the subs are more filling than you might expect; I find that a Sub plus a spring fresh roll is a good lunch. Call ahead with about 10-15 minutes notice, and you'll be in-and-out in a jiffy. I was just there and asked -- they've been going 20 years (since 2002)!It awesome because it's exactly what it says on the tin - simple, tasty, affordable, and dedicated to what they do.

Some of the best sandwiches you can get, and for an extremely reasonable price. The spring rolls are good and the steamed buns are the great (though I love their chicken steamed buns even more, the pork are great too)

Ordered the soft rolls, spring rolls and a bbq pork banh mi. All I can say is “Yummy!”Why do people stop at chains when these perfect spots exist?Short stop off the 401 on route to Stratford. We’ll be back.

One of my top, if not the best take out spoke in downtown kitchener. The food for the price is unbeatable. Sandwiches are solid, fresh rolls and spring rolls are fantastic.

If you have not had a Vietnamese Sub (Banh Mi) you really should. My Vietnamese wife put me on to them and I try to stop in whenever I'm in the area. Their inexpensive, delicious and well worth a try.

My friend tried this spot for the first time because of it’s good reviews and got me an order of fresh spring rolls. My other 2 spring rolls were perfectly fine and the sauce/dip that came with it was perfect. But this piece had a nasty surprise wrapped around the veggies. This place could use a health inspection review.

Easily best bang for buck in town, Girval has been a staple of DTK for the better part of couple decades. Their sandwiches are super affordable, authentic, and delicious. If you don’t enjoy face numbingly spicy, make sure you ask for no spice!
